Much like the non Pro Pixel 7, Currys are matching the John Lewis enhanced trade in, but they are also offering better trade in for the phones themselves. Eg. £240 for a Google Pixel 6 128 GB.

A fast processor makes all the difference. The new Google Tensor G2 processor was developed specially for the Pixel 7 - it gives you amazing performance, helpful features and high photo and video quality. You can touch up your photos with Pixel-specific tools like the Magic Eraser that effortlessly removes distracting objects from the photo, or the Face Unblur that fixes out-of-focus faces. Add a brilliant OLED display with vivid colours to the package and a high-capacity battery and you've got the perfect all-rounder.

Good to know

- The adaptive battery lasts over 24 hours, or up to 72 hours with Extreme Battery Saver
- Snap great photos with 50 MP triple camera or the 10.8 MP front camera with built-in flash for stunning nighttime selfies
- Record 4K videos at 60 FPS with both front and rear cameras
- The OLED display has vibrant colours thanks to HDR support, and up to 90 Hz refresh rate, so all motion from scrolling to gaming is super smooth
- With built-in Google Assistant, you can compose messages, answer calls, set alarms and so much more, with just your voice
- The Pixel 7 Pro is waterproof with IP68 certification, so you can take it with you in the shower or in the pool

I really hate Curry packaging. It is just a thin plastic bag for expensive bag. I ordered something expensive from them. It came with a damage box. Is there anyway to swap it with a new one in a store.

Can you trade-in in store ?

    Yep.

You need to do the trade in valuation online.

Then go into store and show them your valuation email and hand them your phone. They'll process the trade in there and then. So you don't need to ship your phone off etc.

Back up to £849 now, although I've managed to get a price match online at £701.45 with Amazon. Only valid for a day. Just need to convince myself to trade in my 6A.

I wonder if their price match code will work with the trade in voucher.

I went into Currys at the weekend to have a look at the phone, I don't know if the curved screen edges will be a deal breaker. Any thoughts? (edited)

I hate curved screens, but some people love them.

They "look" great, but imo, the curve adds glare which reduces the workable screenspace. Plus screen protectors are harder to get and then cases don't fit with protector applied, and the screen is more fragile, so breaks when dropped.

I never broke my S8+ (curved) but I never went back to curved screens either. Actually thinking about it I went to OnePlus 7T which I'm still using now. (edited)

Had it since launch and struggling with poor battery life and the need to reboot every other day as something gets bugged. Seriously debating S23 Ultra

Does the trade in not have to be in store?

Also I think it is 240 value and 125 on top

I think you're right and they give 240+125 for a working P6. That's a good trade in offer.

It seems Currys will let you trade in any working phone (I can't see where that they say ot has to be a smartphone). They class your phone as 'working' if it:

Powers on and off with working battery
Has no damage, cracks or missing parts
    Is fully functional
    Has no screen bleed
    Has no water damage
Has no signs of the screen lifting at the edges or corners

Their trade in estimator for a 'working' phone with "make not listed" and "model not listed" gives a £1 estimate (and of course also unlocks the £125 boost).

Would they really accept any old feature phone so long as it was working?

They accepted my Mi smartwatch on the any smartwatch with £100 boost.

Cost me £11 on amazon and got £101 trade in for it.

    only 100 for my 6a

I just this second did a valuation for my 6a - yep, £100 plus the bonus 125 seems pretty decent deal towards the 7 Pro. I managed to get the 6a for 238 when I traded in a smashed up old phone with 100 bonus trade in from Currys last year, I'm really tempted by this

I haven't seen this offer for the 256 GB Pixel 7 pro. Any ideas on where is this being offered with the trade-in?
