sorted byIt’s one of view phones that support HDMI out so it’s useful as a portable media device. It’s also got the biggest screen out of all the other options, but if it’s going to overheat, I don’t want it.
Thanks in advance.
Added: Looks like there is £30 via quidco too?!

Warranty only activated as soon as I set it up.
I remember ordering on the 6th of Jan and warranty was till 16th jan 2025 so I’d assume I set it up on the 16th.
I'm just going to send it back, I've never used a phone that forced me to have a load of apps I do not want, not even the iPhone does that.
You cannot remove the search bar either... (edited)

Ordering one! Thanks!
I'm tempted at this price but Sony's software support is terrible - the previous flagships in this range have only received 2 years of OS updates, ridiculous for a £1k+ phone when even mid rangers from other manufacturers are offering 4 years (edited)
EDIT: I just wish Sony would use the best of their sensors in their own devices. I mean, they make the sensors in pretty much every smartphone but choose smaller, arguably worse sensors for their own flagship devices. Odd. (edited)
3 years security updates at the full price is a bit tight though but ok at this price.
Massive kudos to @MrSwitch
Its looks new
Thank you MrSwitch
So far no issues with getting hot or the fingerprint scanner
Only issues is I cannot seem to transfer SMS and call log from old samsung s9 phone. Apps, photos, contacts, videos have all transferred
I assume you did do full Google back up first including calls and SMS ? (edited)
Really wish the 3 was this price last year. I have wanted this series of phone for ages but last year I moved to iPhone and probably won’t move back 🥲
Might take a few days to get used to the screen dimensions, though.
Edit - see there is a separate warranty checker; May 24 will do! (edited)
