There is no difference playing it in TV mode, all the benefits come from handheld mode, the power is exactly the same. If you haveoney burning a hole in your pocket and you play handled mode a lot it's worth it. If you only play TV mode it's not worth it. And if you don't have a switch get the oled it is the better choice.

Not happy with a dropped damaged unit gonna need try get a replacement..

From my experience, Nintendo Customer Services don't usually care too much about superficial box damage.
However, if the console / contents are damaged, they will definitely replace it for you.

The issue I have is every so often the Dock isn't recognised (I leave it docked) and I have to unplug it from the mains to reset, I don't know if this is a common issue.
