    I have a 5 burner hob, but never managed to use more than 3 at a time. There just isn't enough room. I doubt very much any normal cooking will need more than 3 burners. IMO it is better to have a hob with just 3 burners, but it is almost impossible to find.

    That's not the whole point of a 5 burner. The different hobs have different levels of max heat, so you might use the big one on the left and not the medium one, and then the medium and small at the right together, so 3 at once, or maybe just the middle wok one. Just because it has 5 doesn't mean it's designed to use all 5 at once.

    I find that having the large one at the end, works for me, as mentioned, you cannot cook with all five pots, which on occasion I need to.

    5 burners with the big one in the middle are pointless. If you use a wok or a large pan, the other 4 can't be used!

    A big burner on the side is the way to go. You can then use at least 2 of the other ones at the same time.

    If anyone sees this in London please mention ok the comment. 3 out of my 5 burners won’t stay on. 2 out of those 3 sparks and 1 just don’t spark and I don’t know why 😩😩 (edited)
