GT been in the bicycle business since 1972. They seen fads come and go, but one thing has remained the same after all these years... The reason we are still here. It’s the same reason we threw our legs over our very first bike – pure fun, plain and simple. Even now, when we ride with our buddies, you can guarantee that there are hi-fives, laughs and the post-ride hang at the end of the day. We remain true to the good times on two wheels which GT was founded on because Fun is Serious Business.

That's funny. The last time this exact bike with the exact same spec from the same retailer was posted at the same price you said "could do far worse for £250."
You can't even agree with yourself.

Based on above comments could anyone recommend a decent bike shop in the London area. I never shopped with Evans, but assumed because they were selling a lot of premium priced bikes, they would be good service but maybe not. Halfords and decathlon I tend to use for parts but never bought a bike from. Any suggestions?

Wiggle and chain reaction are not local but online but have great customer service. Take a look perhaps. Halfords have been OK too.

Anybody else having an issue with their order from Evans Cycles.

I've been sent shipping confirmation and expected delivery date, but the tracking number doesn't work and is not showing up in my account, also Evri usually send an email confirming they have received a package etc.

    Something doesn't feel right !

Hi, mine was the same and then I received an email from Evri about 24 hours later, then the tracking number they provided worked.

This company are meant to be awful but the price isn't bad for an entry level MTB.

They indeed are, buy from any other bike shop, not any of these.

Decent price for a runabout. I don't know why GT don't get more love! During lockdown you couldn't even get a unicycle for this price,

GT are the not the great bike maker they once were - the original co-founder died 25 years ago, his partner sold up to an investment company a few years later and the brand has changed hands several times since. But they're definitely budget bikes as opposed to BSOs.

Sensible budget bike for a good price from the UK's worst retailer.

If you buy it, don't let them service it; find a local bike shop/mechanic or learn to do it yourself.

I have this bike but from a different retailer a few years ago. Quite pleased with it. The seat is not comfortable though.

Back down to £269.99 again, with all sizes back in stock. Strange why they’d increase the price and then drop it again.

Am I missing a code or have they not gone up to £329?
