I go off road through the trails with my 600 lumen light so this is plenty powerful.

Nice light. 'only' 600 lumen but really well designed spread. Easily worth <£30 now the nights are getting longer again

I switched from lezyne to the Bontrager Ion series as they offer better mounting options (gopro style).
For the money this is a great buy from a quality brand,

Good light for the price; Lezye stuff is decent and 600 lumens is about right for lighting up an unlit road. However, if you're wanting to use it as a light to see where you're going, the battery life isn't great. Battery life as a "be seen" light on streetlit roads is much better (8 hour dayflash mode is great for dayltime use).

    Ordinary light, ordinary price.

You're not going anywhere dark at a decent speed with this kind of light output.

I've the 400 XL. Great piece of kit and a solid battery. I think I will get this as back up when my other dies

Good find. I have the 11000 version of this so already have decent handlebar mounts on all my bikes. That works well for unlit roads at night but this will be fine for commuting in town and last long enough on pulse mode (and weighs less).

What's the light spread like with the beam? Is there any kind of "cut off" to prevent it blinding oncoming traffic or would you say it would be better for off road riding? I've found that I've needed to angle my lights down further than I'd like to prevent them shining in the eye line of oncoming cars/bikes.
