It’s a bit surprising that this has 16GB of RAM and a 1TB NVMe. The rest of the build is high-end and a lot of modern games average around 70-100GB.

If it’s an option I’d recommend 32GB and a 2TB NVMe but not if the price is much higher. RAM is easier to upgrade yourself later too.

A decent spec'd with a 4080 sub £2k. Not seen a pre build at that price.

If I had to nit pick I'd say 32gb RAM is needed now for some newer game titles.

Which titles would that be that 32gb is needed? Unless you're dealing with content creation or you need your pc for productivity you won't see any noticable gains for gaming by going from 16 to 32.
Having said that, 2k PC, you'd expect 32 for future proofing.

Must be me but PC pricing seems like a total rip off. No idea how a 11th gen Intel based system is worth having for £2000. The CPU is nowhere near high end in 2023 and for £2K I'd want some higher end compute power.

Not voting either way but as Cyberpower does NOT mention the details of the Ram, Motherboard or PSU. I'd rather buy from somewhere else that doesn't hide/Ignore those details even if that cost another £500 to get quality compenents

    16GB = what specs>2400Mhz CL78 or 3600 CL 16?
    Does the Motherboard support Overclocking?
Psu = what wattage and how reliable? Is it the cheapest PSu that will just about run the hardware till Warranty expires?

Agreed, mentioned in another comment, all these areas are the margins on this build and similar. Will be some noname gen 3 ssd and a gold power supply

Trash cpu and only 16gb only ddr4 ram??Should be 13600k with 32gb ddr5 for that price

Unfortunately can't configure this but purchased the 4070ti version a couple of months on a sale and my son bought the 4090 version, absolutely brilliant

But short on the ram (edited)

Did your son buy this one ? If so I’d be interested if you could give a bit more info on the specs of the PSU, MB, RAM and SSD if possible please. Costco website a bit light on info.

    Cheers

As mentioned. 2k and only 16gb ram? Strange choice.

My key concern is it does not tell the PSU details and also 11th Gen cpu.
Also 16GB of ram seems a bit low for a 4080 built. The CPU and motherboard maybe a problem for future upgrade, and also to add more Ram and storage will increase the cost by a fair bit anyway...
I noticed a lot of these pre-built always have some parts that you don't want...

    I like the look of this one Ryzen 7700X, 32gb DDR5 RAM & 4090
Not sure about PSU or full specs though.
A lot of money but not a bad price for a 4090 pre-built compared to the open market.
Stormforce was competing with the 10% off code recently with quality case, cooler, PSU.
Palicomp are £3500 but that’s a 7900X - 670E MB - even if adjusted to like for like then the Costco seems to be no worse value. Would want a bit more info on MB, RAM, SSD and PSU though.
