Popped into sunny Wakefield and spotted this deal.
I believe its Nationwide.
We've kept our phone numbers and now pay £26 for two sims, per month - £13 each.
Apparantly, the more sims you add , the cheaper the monthly cost/per phone
I'm a sole trader and it took 20 mins instore to sort out.
It's a 12 month contract

I have this and it’s took 6 months for them to possibly stop charging me £36 and also had to pay one month in advance which was taken out on first payment £72. Endless calls and all I got was our team are working on it and will call you back but never did. In the end I called and asked if I upgrade how long will it be for first payment to go up, it will be on your next bill sir, I see so why can’t you sort out my overpayment with immediate effect. 4 different chats later and I’m told it’s sorted, my next bill is due so fingers crossed but good luck to all that take this.

What's the best network in Wakey?

I’ve been with 3 for 15 years and they have been ok. There are maps of coverage for the networks, online

No roaming I believe, ID and smarty would cost £15 for unlimited.

That is to consider. If you go abroad a lot, you should probably go for a a contact that includes free european roaming.

Final eBay sales were 23 Nov 2022 (at highly inflated prices compared to when started):

Excellent reminder of chargeback opportunities for "ongoing services", thanks.
Not checked current text but some ancient MC doc I have that is (was) issued to merchants states the 3 qualifiers as:
    • 120 days from when the services ceased with a maximum of 540 calendar days from the transaction settlement date for issues of interruption of ongoing services
    • Between 15 and 120 calendar dates from the transaction settlement date
    • Between 15 and 120 calendar dates from the delivery/cancellation date of the goods or services.

I never realised they got that expensive! That's nearly 5 times more than the cheapest I saw. I wonder how many of the 3000 customers were at that inflated price?

That date also means he was still selling up to just a fortnight before all the SIMs died. I like to think the best of people and maybe he just took on too much (he claimed he was trying to create his own MVNO) and is sincerely trying to fix it for customers who stuck around. The 4 months he claimed for a resolution lost I spoke to him still haven't expired....

As an aside, how much of eBay is actually archived? I'm guessing you can't get into individual listings? And how do you search for a page like that where the current version doesn't exist?

If you take a business contract with Three, then in my experience you should expect to spend a lot of time on the phone trying to get billing mistakes corrected. Unless you have a surplus of time, patience and good mental health, then I would honestly suggest looking elsewhere!

I just cancelled an unlimited business data sim with a cost of £3 per month because we wanted to make a clean break from Three Business due to all the billing issues we have had with them. Surprise surprise, our final bill is not correct. It should have been around £9 (3 months of contract remaining) but was quoted in the switching info text at around £30 (which we were assured at the time was just a glitch and the final bill would be correct) and was finally billed at £90.

They have also repeatedly failed to return advance charges when we have cancelled SIMs. The amounts get listed on the bill but NOT applied to the final total.

Never had any issues with billing, 10 sims at £60 a month. £6 each

Either you're very lucky or I'm very unlucky. I've taken business deals from Three several times, including the £3 unlimited data offer, "business boost" which gave 10 sims @ £20 per month and even just straightforward SIMs without a special offer and had billing issues every time. Their team in India was usually absolutely useless at fixing the issues. The Glasgow team was slightly better but it still took considerable time and effort to get things resolved.

Does anybody know what happened to the mail order bride chancer on the bay that was shifting "pre-paid" 2-year / 3-years unlim-everything 3 / Voda sims originally from about one-off £50?

The seller seems to have abandoned the bay (or has been removed ) but there were many happy HUKD punters using and praising these sims.

Just wondering if the early-adoption sims are still functional and the "deal" is now under-table only.

The SIMs on all networks stopped working (no bundle attached) around the end of November 2022. A few weeks later the SIMs died completely (no signal or number).

A promise they'd be working again by the new year became a promise they'd be fixed within 4 months. Then he disappeared off eBay completely. 3000+ customers, spending £100+ each. Neat little scam really. (edited)

Shouldn't this be £2.60? It was £2 last year.
