Exact same one I have, which I bought from here

    tab-retail.co.uk/ten…te/

For £24.99 last October and I can't fault it to be fair.

Just remember to set you ISP router to modem mode. (edited)

Will this allow a Guest Network? I have the BT Smart hub 2 and there is no option for Guest net...

Thanks for posting. Been looking for an upgrade to my virgin hub and this looks decent for the price.

    I got the TP-Link Wi-Fi 6 AX3000 (Archer AX53) for £70, no issues

Just wondering if that is any good or if I should have gotten something better or cheaper (like this router) it's for a city fibre 1GB connection

Newbie when it comes to routers (edited)

Out of the box, I don’t think so. Not sure if the bios can be flashed to make that an option.

Thanks OP. Excuse my ignorance, but what is the advantage of this? Evidently you keep your existing ISP modem and then plug this in.
If your existing line (ISP,) is naff, and won't let in above a certain speed, (without digging up the road and laying new cable ) how can this get more out?

So the first question is, what is your current router?

Black BT hub 3.0? Presume it is a home hub?

Does a better modem like this provides better band width around the house compared to ISP's modem? Or would it still be better to use mesh to cover wifi dead spots? Forgive me, newbie here

I found this to be the case. Dropping signals. And the ISP (virgin) to updating configurations causing issues. So I got a tp link and the signal was so much better

Did anyone purchase this? If so, any good? I have a 4G router made by Tenda (4G09) and find the software really nice to use and the performance is great and covers a really good range of at least 75,000 sq ft.
