Update 1
Samsung via eBay confirmed that this is indeed the 65" model on offer.
Seems a fantastic offer here for an open box model. There's a little bit that I've added below about what they mean by "Open box Never used" It does have a warranty, but I'd have to assume it was a 1 year one, as It doesn't say specifically.

No codes needed at all

Delivery is free

Great price, but reviews from WHICH are pretty poor, at the end of the day its a big edge lit LED with high refresh rate so great for gaming on a budget but you'd be crazy to pay full price for this IMO. Personally i'd pay more for a back lit or OLED.

Great feedback but it's not listed at full price. It's half price

Iv also messaged them and got the same response...thats its the 65 inch. Also confirmed its free returns if 55 turns up. Ordered anyway seems a great price if its correct. Thanks OP

For those in the know whats the likely hood of this going wrong witihn the first 12 months?
    hilalo's avatar
Problem is of it going wrong after the 12 months period
I bought a brand new Saumsung TV 2021 model which suddenly stopped working less than two years into owning it. Although we barely use it at a rate of one hour a day. To get it fixed, I got quoted by the service centre recommended by Samsung for an amount higher than its original price (edited)

Wonder how this compares to my QN94a, might upgrade if its overwhelming better
    MrCharcutier's avatar
No, this one doesn't even come close to what you have.

I received my Q75B Monday but only set it up now. I was a bit annoyed about the Q80B debacle but the my set looks really good to be honest

It definitely has a VA panel which makes it even more great! It also had the protective film on it 😁
    Smartguy1's avatar
Only main difference between the Q75 is the back lighting on the Q80 and it has better sound output. Possibly has anti reflective film too. My QN94 has the anti glare film. It doesn't work as I can see my living room blinds in the picture if I concentrate on it and the window doesn't have the sun streaming through it.

As for the lighting, my preference is back lit as it is better on paper like many things. A lot comes down to how the eyes perceive the image. I have a QN94 and I think the Neo Qleds are just a gimmick with its hundreds of dimming zones. I also have a Sony 9005 which only has 40 dimming zones but the image is equally as good on the Sony with sharp detail and decent blacks. Overall the Sony is a better all round as it processes low quality imagery better than the Samsung but the Samsung possibly has the edge on 4k material, not that we watch much in 4k.

I bet you would see little difference between any of the QLED models side by side as even the Q60 looks decent playing it's 4k loop in Currys.

    Enjoy your TV.

To be honest with you, I didn’t check if it had been dispatched, but they’ve given me a code which makes the next version of the Q80B same price
  8. melvzt's avatar
    Item description says 55 inch
    darkimports's avatar
Yeah I can't see you getting 65ins for this money tbh
  9. jay__'s avatar
I'd say its a lot of TV for the money

Thanks OP. Just ordered one. Originally wanted to get a 65” Samsung Ultra HD - this beats it on spec and on price. No brainier for me.

i've got tracking number with panther, is it bad to secretly be hoping to be offered the Q80B at the same price!
    Smartguy1's avatar
Me too. Email at 13.31 saying order despatched.
  14. KPNut42's avatar
Mine got cancelled too so i ordered the Q80B instead. I have say this is a bit of a steal. Where else can you get a 65" TV with 120hz HDMi 2.1 for gaming for this price.
    gu2gan's avatar
When was it cancelled? Have you received posted notification on ebay?
  15. erfyp's avatar
Just had mine delivered. Not opened it yet but q70 on the box. Slightly gutted didnt get upgrade to q80. Well done to those that did.

Anyway wanted to ask if anyone is able to recommend a good slim wall bracket?
    Smartguy1's avatar
I have bought a few wall brackets but only wall hung up to a 50". If it's a 400mm VESA across the width I would advise getting a bracket that suits a 600 mm VESA as the wall brackets on the 400mm are a bit short in my opinion.

I tend to use this one but on the last one I bought I thought the steel seemed a bit thinner where the TV brackets hang on the wall bracket.

I bought this one as a spare as it was on offer but it's hardly low profile at 60mm from the wall. That's fine so long as you can't see down the side.

A lot depends on whether you want tilt or not. (edited)

why has this been expired ?
  25. CSClapham's avatar
Theyre selling the 65” Q60B for £692 and the 65” Q65B for £714 so very unlikely they’re selling the 65” Q75B for less. Great price if they are though!
  26. gu2gan's avatar
Bought it and i already have s95b .....
  27. zee54's avatar
Ordered!! Thanks OP!! Seems like a cracking deal!
  28. jay__'s avatar
looks like they have revised the description and there is no reference to 55" now.

Just bought one. Confirmed it is 65” 75B

    this 65" QLED vs 55" LGC1 OLED @ £779 5yg from Currys?
    aboakingaccident's avatar
How are you getting the C1 for that price, a work discount?

I'm having a similar conundrum. I sit very far from the TV in a bright room so tempted by this QLED. Obviously the guarantee issue.
  31. Got2LoveGadgets's avatar
Looks like a good deal just wonder why soo many TV boxes opened but never used?

Surely you wouldn't open the box look inside and say ah that's not what I thought it was and then send it back :-)
    greatnameuk's avatar
Yeah usually means the quality is poor
  32. Rahulvash26's avatar
    Warranty is the issue here.
    Hardshoulder's avatar
what exactly is the warranty with this deal 12 months?
  33. Rahulvash26's avatar
Also, is it better than Hisense A7GQTUK 65’’. I got for 434 direct from Hisense with 2 yr standard warranty and option to convert it to full insurance including accidental cover for an extra cost.
  34. supermann's avatar
I take it this is worse than the C1 4K OLED deal posted here earlier this week?

Putting aside the size difference and warranties I mean. (edited)
    greatnameuk's avatar
Some people prefer high end LCDs some prefer OLEDs... There is not always worse... Cheap LCDs are awful tho

Try comparing them in Currys or somewhere

I prefer a plasma TV....I believe the picture is natural / smoother than even an oled.. But they don't make them anymore! (edited)
