If you aren't fussy about how it looks, I've been using this sports bag for a while from Decathlon: decathlon.co.uk/p/2…551
Perfect Ryanair size and I haven't spotted anything cheaper (7 quid)

I bought one before 2020. It still works well

Just booked a flight from London to Amsterdam with Ryanair. Nowadays they let you carry only a backpack for free. If you want to carry a bag like the one above, you need to pay extra. £10 I think it was.

You can take one piece of "luggage" on board. Doesn't matter whether it's a holdall, backpck or handbag as long as it meets the maximum dimensions.

I’ve been fine with a backpack and I always get a bottle of water from a duty free shop and ask them for the biggest carrier bag they have. You can carry that on with no extra charge and put some extra clothes in it if your bag is overweight.

Well, you've been lucky so far. Several times I have seen that (not only) Ryanair employees strictly demanded only one hand luggage into which the items purchased at the airport had to be put, even in the plastic bag.

Bought 2 of these a couple of weeks ago, fit under Ryanair seats easy.

Bought two a couple of weeks ago, really pleased with them, surprised how much I could pack into it.
If you select the option for 2 it works out at £10.50 each (£20.99 for 2)

DOH, I bought 4 individually thinking 'size x2' meant a bag twice the size 🤦

Amazon reviews suggest it's pot luck whether it makes it to the airport without breaking.

Do Ryanair have weight restrictions on their bags?

Are you sure that will fit under the seat? There is barely enough room for feet under the seats
    coolnattu's avatar
yes! you just have to knock down the front seat.
