    Great machines - wife & I both have one a few years (must be 4 at least), got as refurb - do just fine. No idea of the exact spec, but i5 5th gen sounds about right. I recently got an adaptor off eBay (10 inch cable) , that lets you charge using a PD USB-C. Only a few quid (one charger now charges both X250s, my work laptop, mobiles & (via a Chargie c) the tablet. Never likely to take em all with us, but handy still. (edited)

    Good price and spec. Not sure about the seller as never used them. The X250 has the improved touchpad over the X240 and is a solid workhorse. I would expect the poorer HD display but at sub-£100, not a big deal.

    I've had numerous Thinkpad X series that I have bought as refurbs (currently on X280). Make great cheap everyday computers and perfect with Linux.

    I take my mine on holiday as then have a more than capable machine that won't matter too much if it gets lost or damaged etc.

    Perfect linux machine. I would install Ubuntu or Debian. No artificial end of life like Windows 10 either.

    Judging from the "specs" part of ebay, it can either be a TN or IPS since Lenovo offered those two for the lowest resolution

    With the current falling price of SSD's, probably no great disadvantage, you'd likely want to upgrade either size.
