Are these safe? Would love to hear feedback from anyone who has it installed .

Any locks that use RFID, wifi or Bluetooth can be very easily hacked.

I have this lock on my front door and it's fine with the keyfob but the app has caused me a lot of problems to the point where I can't use my phone to open the door any more. I'll get around to trouble-shooting it at some point but this is not a user-friendly experience if you're not using the fob.

I would consider one of these for an internal door such as to my home office, but for an external door? God no.

Cheers to you on your first deal though OP (edited)

It has backup v9 contacts underneath and as long as you have physical tags. As long as you don't rely on internet connectivity. I'd argue it's a tricker lock than traditional ones.

I wonder if insurance companies recognise these locks

I've used two different insurance companies over the years and never had an issue with them and this lock. It is SBD accredited and PAS24 compliant. Shouldn't be an issue but as with all things, talk to your own insurer before fitting.

Yes, the L1 is the older version and doesn’t include the smart hub wifi bridge, thanks

Can you use this with a multi point lock?

I would imagine so - yale has a checker on their website - i would recommend checking with this first
