INCREDIBLE 4K VISUALS
Sony have built the sleek 6.5 inch OLED Ultra HD display using their much-loved Triluminos TV technology. It features a 1644 x 3840 max resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and the screen is now 50% brighter than the previous model. OLED technology with Gorilla Glass Victus delivers incredibly rich, natural colours and deeper blacks. With 70% of all Netflix films made in 21:9, you're set up for great entertainment. The Xperia 1 IV is also ideal for using two apps at once side by side. So, you can see more, scroll less and multitask with ease.

QUAD-LENS CAMERA
If taking photos is your thing, you'll love the triple-lens camera at the back - there's a 12MP Dual Pixel main sensor in partnership with a 12MP telephoto lens, an 12MP ultra-wide lens and a depth sensor. Auto-focus and object tracking keep your images sharp. It's easy to capture a huge variety of shots - from expansive landscapes to expressive portraits. You can even shoot 4K video at 120fps. There's a 12MP snapper at the front for selfies too.

BUILT FOR SPEED
The high-speed connectivity of 5G also ensures access to the internet wherever you go. An upgrade to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor in combination with 12GB RAM and Android 12 ensure everything happens incredibly fast and smooth, including streaming and downloads. You also get a massive 256GB of internal storage.

LONG BATTERY LIFE
The battery now features a large 5000mAh capacity, giving you power you can rely on. It's also compatible with 30W Fast Charging, so you boost the battery to 50% in just 30 minutes. Boasting IP65/68 rating water resistance, it's ready for the weather too.

Hmm if you shop around 13 pro maxes can be had for 550 (got mine in the last ebay 20% off).

The 13 pro max and flagships from samsung spank this phone frankly, even for it's so called USP, content creation. Video on the iPhone blows xperia's out of the water, I owned an earlier model.

They're a little more advanced. But I find iphone images are over processed. I'm a DSLR user and think the Sony Xperia 1 iv is the best phone I've ever used for images.

This will drop even further with the 1 V being announced next week. I say wait a little bit.

Got this phone earlier in the year, awful phone in comparison to others. Very finicky on what charger it'll work with, even then it's not particularly quick. Battery drain was fast even after settling down and the camera really disappointed me the lack of ability to take photos on an auto mode really fails on this phone. Particularly night modes.

These are the very same issues since Mark 1.

It has been cheaper but still a good price. Get this over the 5 IV as that phone has issues and I just returned mine.

What kind of issues, please, and thank you? I was looking to buy the 5IV.

Bought on the last GiffGaff deal but returned it when I did not get on with it.

Now that my Pixel 7 Pro's screen is starting to flicker and go green, I thought I'd give it another go!

Ordered yesterday and just arrived. Looks immaculate.

One of the worse flagships I've used. Their skin is terrible.

What are pros and cons ? I am very tempted to get this for extended storage and headphone jack but worried about the OS and UX friendliness.

Are these "like new" phones unboxed? Anything else included? (edited)

Comes in a generic Giffgaff box with USB cable and sim tool.
