These are the best headphones I've had. These would rival leading brands including airpods. In my opinion, Creative products are the best for sound.

Every review I watched had the near identical complaints about sound quality- but at the expected 100 dollar price point. Strong on bass and instrument separation, not so good every where else. Microphone usable but not fantastic. ANC usable but not fantastic- and an issue with wind outdoors because of the size of the buds.

At 40 quid, I'd guess they'd be assessed much more favorably. And the actual battery life (as opposed to the case charge capacity) is TRIPLE normal buds at 15 hours. Pretty amazing.

I have these, and the battery is incredible.
Soundwise, they are good to very good. They are not as sharp as earphones in the price bracket above them (~£100).
It depends on what type of earphones you are used to. If you always use £20 pairs, these will knock them out of the park.
At this price, they are a solid buy.

Just to balance the above, these are very comfortable for me for long durations.

    Battery life is amazing too

Got these buds yesterday. Disappointed. Sound is crap on them, even compared to some anker sound core ones half the price. Also Bluetooth keeps dropping out in the gym next to my phone.

Not worth 40 quid by a long shot.

Mine arrived today, and my opinion is literally the opposite of everything you've written. These are superb, and incredibly comfortable to wear. You don't notice them in your ears, and they're firmly secure. Warm mid ranges, excellent bass reproduction. They are suited to my bass-heavy genres of hip hop, drum and bass, house, with no distortion, even with volume doubler players like MX Player Pro.

On the incidental topic of Anker, I bought these recently from here, and they are the most aurally underwhelming pieces of tat I've put in my ears in a long time:

These Outliers utterly blow them out of the water. (edited)

I was seeing how this would stack against my existing mpow m30 plus and I'm not sure these are any better?

i have m30 plus, i think these are way better than them. with anc and longer battery life? they dont come close to the outlier pros. brav dont be ridiculous lol

I've had these for just over a year. For prolonged use (3hrs+) I find them slightly uncomfortable. Anything under that, they are great. Sound quality is really good too. I paid £70 for mine, a steal at £40.

I've got the Outlier Air V3 and I love them for gym use, for long phonecalls (3hrs+).

Impressive sound and battery life for the price. If my calls get longer I tend to switch from ear to ear because they do get a bit uncomfortable imo after some time.

Still, no idea why people pay airpod money when there are options like this around!
    the_mercy_of_percy's avatar
I've got the v3 as well. Lovely sound BUT on mine the Bluetooth doesn't automatically reconnect when I switch them on unfortunately so I need to do that manually. Good kit aside from that.

Ended up sending these back. Dreadful sound quality over 40% volume, constant connection drop in the gym, and worst was wind noise whilst using these whilst cycling. Literally anything over a brisk walk results in horrendous loud wind noise. Clearly down to the design, as the wind sound goes completely when I turn my head right or left.

Returned and ordered some Sony WC500 buds instead that I’ve owned in the past and know they are decent.

SBC and AAC codec only, no hi-res option. Okay for low-res audio phone like iPhone

Absolutely useless .... i had ver 1 and ver 2 .... both had issues after 3 months...... only good for media consumption and useless for phone calls. On a bright side .... amazing battery life (edited)

I am returning my Veho RHOX buds due to lip synch latency issues and disconnect tendencies (apparently they're £130 RRP but I nabbed them at TK Maxx for £27). Let's hope these work better. Bought and heat added
