Sound quality is quite basic compared to my others including £100+ Sonys.

Yet I almost always wear these. Why? Awesome battery life. Sony (Mk3s) wimp out after an hour, prematurely claiming low battery. These go over six hours without a pod recharge.

Plus I mainly listen to podcasts, so no need for skull throbbing bass or stereo soundscapes.

Main irritation with these is the firm double pump you have to give to pause. Like being syringed for earwax! And they're not the fastest to pair.

These are the ones that don't have a transparency mode, am I right?

Anyone know if there's a way to get a partial refund from Amazon if an item you bought goes cheap within 3 days of buying it or should I just pretend I didn't see this and quietly sob in a corner?

Not to my knowledge but just return it?

I had these but frequently wouldn’t pair with each other/only one side would work. Had to return, bought P3’s recently, hopefully they fair better

Brilliant headphones! I use them regularly and would definitely recommend them.

Excellent for bass heavy music, and great sound quality maintained throughout the volume range. Also great battery life and the case holds a good amount of charge too.

    Only a few negatives:

    1. No 'skip back' button

    2. No app (not a deal breaker for me)

    3. No real EQ settings apart from 3 pre-sets (again not a deal breaker for me as I tend to put them straight onto the bass boost setting)

    4. No active noise cancellation but you'd be hard pressed to find that at this price point

    5. No transparency mode

    6. the 'skip forward' button is on the left ear, which feels the wrong way round

    7. The main annoyance for me... they are designed to switch off when you put them back in the case. Which is like most ear buds. But if the case has no charge, then they never switch off. Meaning that they end up dying. But more irritatingly, they end up connecting to my phone when I don't want them connected!

You should try the Life A2 NC. They have the same form factor as these but all the negatives you listed aren't present. You can configure the touch controls however you want, plus tons of EQ presets as well as custom. Really good noise cancellation and transparency mode. Don't cost much more but definitely worth it.

Your not going to get any better in the £20-50 range. They actually have Ok base and overall sound quality is decent.

How do you actually get this price, can only get £39.99. Thanks
