30-day FREE returns & 12 months warranty makes it very fair if anything goes wrong or if one finds overheating issues.
Also a 6-month warranty on the battery, probably within reason.

Super pleased with mine that arrived at 9am. Camera is really nice. Below images give an idea of how well the camera works, but do keep in mind that there is some compression going on here (Uploaded elsewhere, then here) Images are even better on the phone itself, as you'd imagine.

    No Zoom

10x zoom is quite useable as it's optical zoom.
Anything above 10x is just software manipulation that's not bad at all tbh.

Bought one from them a year ago, love the phone, battery is 'ok'

Just a warning to check the camera and the housing when it arrives, the plastic back of mine around the lenses was a bit loose and I thought nothing of it but now I have marks from dust on every pic when using the ultra wide and main cameras. I have to remove them using the eraser in the gallery. Test it by taking a pic of a white background.
Wish I'd realised and sent it back for a replacement straight away. (edited)

Just received mine (went for 512gb pristine) and can't see a single mark / scratch anywhere on phone, well pleased!

I received my good and fair mobiles.
Fair condition has severe scuffing around bezel and on the back. Screen has one scratch of about 5mm other than that it's good.

Good condition was literally mint. No scratches either on screen or back or on bezel. One 2mm paint off bezel in one area that's really really hard to notice at all.

Thanks op. Very good bargain. 310 for 512gb version and I'm happy. Fair condition one is going straight back.

I used to have this phone before I upgraded to the s23u. It's a night and day difference - the crappy exynos processor they put in the s21 series really compromises the experience. I never had any slowdown but the s21u used to get frighteningly hot when multitasking or shooting video.

It's a good price for a high end phone but there are issues with it. (edited)

Honestly the performance is better than my S22U so ymmv.

I got mine. Was "good". There's no marks on screen at all. No marks on back or camera. The only slight scuffs are around the sides. But you can't even see them unless shining light on them.

I bought an S21u ultra from these guys a couple of months ago and I am so happy with the whole experience. I paid for a mint condish one and I honestly don't see how it's ever been used. The phone arrived in a 4gadgets box with charger, very promptly, very quick responses to emails (even on a bank holiday monday). Very very pleased. As for the phone, I bought a spagen case with space for a pen, and a pen from amazon. Camera has very similar specs to s22 ultra, it's just the pen is combined in the body of the phone. I have heard rumours of S23 ultra having some glitches so very happy dipping my toe in the samsung ultra waters with this model. Holiday pictures look amazing, so many features on the camera, 100 x zoom is possible but really only usuable on a still day with a tripod or rigor mortis.

Same here but an "excellent" titanium one, and the only defect was a slight chip on a corner which I touched up with a Sharpie and now you wouldn't know it was there. Battery health was showing as 85 percent but after two months accubattery now says 89 percent (not that I pay too much attention to it). I already had a Smart view flip case with a pen from my previous S21U. I rarely use 100x zoom, but 30x zoom produces decent pictures.

Refurbished = Repaired with unknown history, the biggest marketing scam word of recent years, it's often a build of parts from a few phones often sold for the price of new. Why is there still no option to hide all USED products offers?
    duncan.ireland's avatar
That's my concern about this - as the phone heats up and under multitasking you won't know what shape the silicon is in until something goes wrong.

I just bought a S20 ultra off Amazon renewed £230 from 4gadgets seller in good condition and it's spotless.

Looking for an upgrade from my OnePlus 7T
I wonder if it's worth 350 notes to upgrade.
I mainly use the phone for YouTube viewing and photos. Games are jo longer a priority for me.

    Excellent 512 or a Pristine 256?? (edited)

OnePlus 10t is much better. I bought for 300 on eBay 16gb version. Exynos in UK model of Samsung is defective filth ..
  12. jon67's avatar
Had an S21 ultra for just over 2 years.
Really good phone apart from the exynos processor overheating on warm days causing the screen to dim considerably.
This was a real pain if trying to see the screen in the sun on a warm day.
No issues whatsoever with my S23 Ultra using the Snapdragon processor.
    русскийникотлично's avatar
Never had mine overheat at all. Maybe I'm lucky..
  13. ohsomeonenew's avatar
Received my 512 GB fair condition today. I would describe it as a good as per other sellers. Some minor scratches on the screen else seems great. 290 for 512 GB seems good enough for me.
  14. spikezster's avatar
Just recieved mine looks very good condition. One tiny hair line scratch on screen and tiny scratches but not the worse ive seen, but looks mint other wise I reckon probably the backs of these have been replaced (edited)
    русскийникотлично's avatar
The back of my one (phantom titanium) has a matching IMEI number and having looked about online, a back in this colour seems extremely difficult to get hold of. So if there's no IMEI number on the back then yes it would have been replaced.

Received s21 ultra yesterday but one thing i noticed, was when you shake the phone, i hear slight rattling. Is that normal?
    dabear11's avatar
It is normal, just checked my S21 Ultra. Think most high end Samsung phones have this rattle in the camera
  17. derpayne's avatar
I would say this is the best phone I've ever had in all honesty, love the zoom, love the screen for watching stuff here and there.
A brilliant device, in no rush to upgrade.
    mikeyd85's avatar
There's nothing on the market that is a compelling upgrade. Especially if you're not gaming on it.

After watching some reviews, I went for the excellent one with 256gb. For £314 still seems a pretty good deal.
    Thanks OP

Not too bad, a case should take care of that if you're not too fussed.
I'd be testing the battery straightaway to see what that's like. Not always the most accurate, but something like the Accubattery app should give you some idea about its overall health play.google.com/sto…=US

I bought a refurbished S21U via eBay earlier this year (after having a base S21 from new). It's an excellent phone, regardless of all this Exynos/Snapdragon stuff.

If you can get one without significant damage, this is a great price.
    duncan.ireland's avatar
It is a great phone but the overheating really worried me. If you've not used the snapdragon variant you don't appreciate the difference.

Shooting video (in HD) for maybe 5 minutes for work the phone got so hot it hurt to touch and actually shut itself off.

The battery life also suffers because of that.

I am happy with my purchase. Only gripe, battery could have been better. But at this price can't complain. Down the line would pay corner shop to get battery replaced.
