sorted byThe downside is they cost £100~£150 but you can spend that on a Meaco or Dyson brand fan easily. X-Power are the brand of mine but I'm sure there's others out there.
They are a lifesaver in heatwaves. Set them back a metre from a window on half-power overnight in another room and close up come the morning. Infinitely cheaper to run than AC. Also quieter; half the dial on mine is entirely wind noise. (edited)
