    If only I could get prices like that. Just upgraded my son's Rockrider 540s to Deore which has cost me over £100. Better than keep paying for Altus stuff though when he's broken it again at Farmer John's MTB park

    6-7-8 speed RD, chains are cros compatible.

    That looks to be quite a long cage on that derailleur. Largest 6 speed freewheel I have seen is 14-34T.

    I got a free bike off facebook marketplace that had this derailleur. They had attempted to fix the bike but failed and left a new derailleur like this on it. Seemed ok but not a huge amount of spring tension but maybe the long cage helps compensate for that.

    Good deal to get a bike functional. I have 8 speed setup on calibre lost lad and it is suprisingly effective and even a 6 speed should be perfectly functional. (edited)
