One of the best price I have seen this year for this highly rated Air Circulator Fan - £92.65 with code SUNNY15

4148332_1.jpg

MeacoFan 1056 not only gives you superior air cooling by moving 1056 cubic metres of air each hour. Its multi-directional operation means the air bounces off your walls and ceilings, keeping everyone in the room cool not just the person next to the fan. Once the air is circulating, you can turn the fan right down and your room will stay cool.

Its also quiet. Very quiet. We know that the drone of fans can drive you crazy especially when youre trying to sleep. So weve aimed to design near-silent fans for bedrooms, studies, sitting rooms anywhere in your home where you need cooler air but less noise. In fact, the fact that our fan is so quiet is one of the reasons it consistently gets top ratings from customers.

  • Very quiet from just 20dB
  • Strong airflow that reaches over several metres
  • Low power consumption from under 10 watts
  • ECO mode for auto fan speed cooling
  • Sleep Mode for optimised bedroom cool
  • Lightweight at just 3.2kgs

I have two of these and two similar ones by another brand. Used these every day for the past year as me and my son's like a fan on as we sleep. These are the best fans I've ever owned and I've owned most. H
Great air flow and almost silent operation, great remote control and rotation/tilt mechanism.

Thinking of buying one of these.. world people recommend the pedestal version for the additional £'s ?
    rbz5416's avatar
I have both & the pedestal isn't worth the extra IMO. You also have the extra bulk to store over winter. Just put the desktop version on a small table, it can be angled upwards if necessary.

These are great. Slightly cheaper in Costco for those who have membership

You can always tell when there is immanent hot weather the meaco fan deals start appearing, it's like the HUKD version of a migratory animal.

Absolutely no reason to buy this fan.

Absolutely no reason for such a comment

I don't know what you people are complaining about. It's not even 25 C degree and the rush to buy a fan has started.

Wait till it gets 40 C or something

Going to be waiting a while

I'm so tempted to get one, will it be a big improvement from a couple of tower fans?
    Nathan's avatar
It can be much quieter and if you do put it on max it shifts a lot of air alongside the ability to rotate vertically too which helps move hotter air hanging around the ceiling.

And yes, the centre is a remote that is magnetic and comes off (edited)

25% off Meaco this time last year at Homebase got it for £80. Maybe they'll do it again

I feel this is so expensive even with the discount for what it does
    MØ94's avatar
Most of the cost is for the quiet sleep settings. I'd agree day time usage no different to a cheap fan

Surely there are third party unranded ones similar?

Great price, but I´m holding out for a deal on the pedestal version.

I pulled the trigger. Been watching this fan for ages and the price does fluctuate a bit but, as with everything these days, the general price trend is up in a few pound increments. It’s never often much below £90.

love this fan bought this one in JL Clearance at the start of the summer last year for £89 & then bought one later in the summer in the same clearence for £82 & its a blessing at night & it can shift so much air you feel cooler & so does the room
