Do you need a visa for turkey on a UK passport ? If yes , how much does it cost ? Any info. ? Much appreciated

UK passport holders no longer required to get a visa in advance at a cost. It's a free visa on arrival I.e. passport gets stamped. I went last year and can validate. When I visited in 2018 then yes, at that time you would have to purchase a evisa online through the Official Turkish government's website. Hope that helps

British Citizens travelling to Turkey for tourist or business purposes are able to travel without a visa for visits of up to 90 days in any 180-day period

Ah great to see one of the great F1 drivers on HotUK, keep it up, in a big fan!

What's with the "I" in Istanbul in the title?
    Tepsi's avatar
Upper case i is İ and lower case I is ı. They're different letters and they have different sounds.

That's a long time to be on a Wizz Air plane!

It's also much cheaper and going from and to better airports compared to the budget comparison. Most people just want to get from point A to B for the cheapest or within reason

isnt Wizz air supposed to be one of the worst airlines? last minute cancellations etc?
    bozo007's avatar
Where does that put BA which has an equally bad track record recently?

But will you ever get there? Personally, I wouldn't even buy a Wizz Air ticket for a fiver unless I didn't care if the flight never happened. If I need to feel secure about the trip I'd book almost any other airline.

Not really. Prices are inflated. You're not actually saving anything.
