easyBus transfer London to Stansted, Luton & Gatwick Airport from £1.99

Easy bus transfer London to Stansted, Luton & Gatwick from £1.99 and operated by National Express (on National Express website same transfer is £10)
To be fair myself and my daughter used this service but operated by National Express in December.I was very hesitant as I'd nothing but bad reviews. But to their credit, on both legs, we were able to catch earlier buses as we were super early and hadno issues at all. You can catch the bus an hour either side of your scheduled time if there is room on the bus/coach. I just wanted to put another view out there as I hadn't read any positives

I believe it's different companies running it in different parts of the …I believe it's different companies running it in different parts of the UK. I tried the Manchester one, which actually consisted of me giving them money to leave me stranded at the airport. Cost me a fortune to get home and I've never even received an apology, let alone a refund.

Had the same thing in Paris, never again!
We booked easybus last year. They failed to mention to us (and the 20 other people waiting at Waterloo for a 5am bus) that it wasn't stopping there for 2 weeks (even though the ticket stated the stop). Taxi to the airport wasn't cheap. No contact possible except through post to request a refund. Awful.
Some London drop-offs are served by Airport Bus Express instead. Booked trips directly with National Express for £8 return the other day for Liverpool St- Stansted at the end of April, roughly same times are £14 return with EasyBus. Used to use EasyBus but went off them when it was a pain in the arse trying to find out where the buses left from when they changed from using the Stansted coach park.
Left us stranded, repwas no help, contact numbers were no use and emails weren’t responded to. We payed a lot more than £1.99 too. Once we were home and called to complain they were just as bad. Not worth the stress, not worth risking missed flights.

Only gone and book my ticket to go to Rome alone! May can’t come sooner
Don't worry about it just do it .. much better to try than look back in later life at what could have been . I started travelling alone about four years ago. I do all sorts of things I would never have done previously and meet so many wonderful people. Longest holiday alone two and a half weeks! People are amazing when they see you are alone and often strike up conversation. Also shocked at how many other single women travelling. Try it you won't look back.

Icelolkly are reputable. Decent deal if you have to do it on the cheap.
If it's an evening flight out and a morning flight back, which it normally is with these deals, you're only getting one full day in Rome. It's a fantastic city and that isn't enough time to scratch the surface.

In my opinion these city break deals always have a catch. You'd be much better off buying the flights and hotel separately for more flexibility.

Used these flights for 3 years running twice to phuket to once as a starting point to travel 4 places in Thailand and once to get to Cambodia. This year same price but to Sri Lanka. Out of interest how did you commute to Six Flags? Car hire?

Yes, hired a car from Manhattan. The journey about about 1hr45mins.
If ever a deal was to be nominated for it’s subsequent wealth of poor comparisons and misinformation, this is it.

Whilst Newark into the City May be 30 Minutes and Stewart into the City 60 minutes longer, this time saving and much more can very easily be wiped out when one considers the average time taken to clear immigration upon arrival at Newark and Stewart. This is based on several family members having made a number of trips to New York for family gatherings, departing both London and Edinburgh.

You have to walk down flights of wooden steps hundreds of feet and the stairways are about three to four feet wide so you can stop for a breather but feel awkward restricting the flow of hundreds of people passing by. Similarly you walk hundreds of yards in the fairly level underground tunnels and galleries and whilst there are some seats dotted around you feel obliged to keep up with your guide. The good news is there are lifts back up! Sadly I can't recommend it to an asthma sufferer but if you do go don't forget your inhaler!

totally recommend the hotel -except for the wait for the lift!

Stayed there this summer - really great rooms but you don't come to New York for the rooms - howver £70 is bargain for this hotel - I paid £200 for four of us.

Walking distance to the WTC, Liberty, Wall St, Walls St Bull, Battery Park, etc, and also the #1 line is really close by - less than 5 mins to take you up to, Time Square, Empire, Central Park and The Rock.

You can have breakfast onsite but if on a budget or want to experience other places there are quite a few cafes around - also Dunkin Donut is right outside - they have a online survey I filled in each day to get a free donut from the receipts - saved me about $30 - did the surveys on the free internet use PCs in the lobby whilst waiting for family to get ready. Tip - buy each item seperate so you get multiple receipts and multiple online codes. If you have kids you will be pleased to get them donuts for breakfast otherwise they actually do decent tea and breakfast.

I would recommend the 24hr cafe just around the corner - Cafe De Novo - really good breakfast baps and late night food - it is very deceptive, looks scruffy but noticed all the locals went there - a good sign and the food is relatively cheap compared to the rest. Also the big one for me - they treat the customers with respect compared to other places (avoid China Town and Charleys)

Century 21 is also about ten minutes walk - big discount store for your bargains but shop in New Jersey for the better deals or Macys - Do not go to to the shopping outlet in New Jersey - I forgot its name but it is the same as Bicester Village but more expensive!

It doesn't feel dangerous but you'd be daft to be wandering around after dark.

There were enough regular hijackings and murders to keep any thoughts about being daft to a minimum. Still drove around town without and trouble.

Whilst not doing anything stupid, we certainly didn't hole ourselves up in the B&Bs after dark. I can't say I found SA any more dangerous feeling than any other big city I've been to in the UK. Cape Town itself is actually a really nice town with a classy waterfront. Oh, and you can get a really good 300g fillet steak across SA for £10!

Well, that's really great and I'm envious, but I take the advice I've had very seriously from someone who has lived there for over 30 years. SA always had a bit of a 'third world edge' to it but the dangers have escalated enormously over the last few years. I guess it's a case of you don't see it until it happens to you?

Be careful. Someone got prosecuted recently. Apparently the chap drove in the short term with 6 people in his car, drove out within a few minutes (5 people lighter) claiming he used wrong car park. The attendants are getting wise to this and check the cameras!

Hiya

The first year I priced it on wdw website for hotel and tickets. If you play about with each date and number of nights e.g. 1.4.18 14,13,15 nights etc and the same 2.4.18 etc for the time your looking to go the prices can fluctuate. We looked at the flights separately and then Thomas cook signature booked it all together for us.

This year we used travel city direct which is part of virgin but prices seem to be a lot cheaper. We booked Jan/Feb time and Disney had 25% off the park tickets. That was to stay in the clarion inn hotel but they did have cheaper hotels too. If you stay at a Disney hotel , Disney arrange free transfers to the airport too. O

Staying on site in Disney is a lot more convenient especially with the moderate dining plan as you have paid it upfront. You can change a quick service meal into 3 snacks. In magic kingdom a snack can be a jacket potato with cheese so you can really make the most of the dining plan go far. Have a read up on that on the dibb.

However staying off site in the clarion wasn't bad either . It was walking distance to Disney springs and we could get the Disney buses to any parks or the hotels have buses running to the parks too.

We are looking to book for next year and the prices are a lot more at the minute but hoping the offers will come back on so it's worth keep checking.

Hope this helps

That price included park tickets flights hotel transfers and dining plan. If you read up on the forums there's lots of different ways to do it. We booked this year and paid 2700 for hotel transfers flights and park tickets staying off site. There was cheaper hotels and the prices started from 2400 for the 4 of us! Just keep your eye on prices. I think whatever age you take the kids they will be delighted Good luck

hi df12.

I have tried finding a cheaper one than this but haven't been able to.

Thanks
The 5700 was for 3 weeks. The 2700 was for 2 weeks.

£5K for a family of 5 . Not a chance . All park tickets for a family of 4 …£5K for a family of 5 . Not a chance . All park tickets for a family of 4 is £1900 minimum. So 5 would be over £2300 just for parks . That leaves you £2700 for 14 nights accommodation ( you need 14 ) . Flights . And food and drink . That's tight . But throw another £1000 on and you could do it .

Anyone reckon it could be done for £5k all in? We are a family of 5, kids are 5, 4, and 17 months. Is 5 and 4 a good age to take em or would we better off waiting a few years until they can all enjoy it? Say until they're 8, 7, and 4? Sorry for all the questions. TIA

Under 3 and you get in parks free under 2 and you fly on virgin atlantic for £59 has to be on mums knee but pay an extra £59 and you can get seat+ which gives u an extra empty seat . Yeah go even if the 17month old wont remember u get good photos . 4 and 5 year olds will have a great time . But you would have a great time and if you wait any longer the price will be higher as you would have to buy 5 tickets and 5 flights . Loads of ways to save money like bring frozen drinks from walmart apples and bananas from hotel for parks get eat and play cards so kids eat free .

A bit of a gimmick and no good for those living in other parts of the country. However to be fair I have always found Southend airport to be a hassle free airport compared to Stansted and Gatwick airports (London City airport okay as well).
