I envy you the Thailand trip. I need to go. I missed out on the awesome Thailand deal on here a few months ago :/

waterloo

Alicante old town in may 8 days and Thailand in sept/oct 2 weeks to see my son who is in new zealand its halfway for both of us.

cam2012

Where you thinking of going this year, anywhere good? :)

waterloo

That's your return time ? as i said i only do long haul for 2 weeks min otherwise it's not worth it for me, but if it's for you then cool but seems hell of a lot of money just for that short amount of time.

cam2012

Flights lands at 8.15 am and transfer is 15 minutes max. Yes the Garrison is nice but I'm not into racing, I go there for the outdoor fitness boot camp and running at 5am daily. It's a great atmosphere.

Why?

windym

No, you are correct, I don't know how far a 737 can fly. That doesn't make me incapable of grasping that fact. I do read the news and know those aircraft are banned from EU and CAA, which reflects my comment. What was your contribution other than a juvenile jibe at something that seems to have flown (no pun intended) right over your head?

t0mm

737 MAX-8 ********

benlondon

You also probably don't grasp that a 737 is incapable of flying direct to St Lucia hahaha

philjstephenson

And quite apart form that, the 737-8 Max is ranged at 4000 nautical miles, so wouldnt fly this route, in very poor taste nonetheless though... (mad)

I just return (today at 11 I had departure), so.. last few days were quite good despite of closing road from Vik to Hvolsvöllur becaccuse of weather. On south east corner its snow all around, closer to selfoss looks like spring, but next to Vik is autumn, storms and snow showers, but not to cold.. and Jökulsárlón quite cold with some snow

colin79666

Don't be so sure! Easterly wind 5-10 m/s and occasional snow showers in East Iceland and along the southwest coast, but fair weather in other places. Relatively calm east or variable wind tomorrow and mostly fair weather, but continuing snow showers in the east. Temperature around freezing level in South and West Iceland, but otherwise frost 1 to 7 Deg. C. Colder over night. Forecast made: 09.03.2019 10:44. Valid until: 11.03.2019 00:00. http://weather.is/iceland/keflavik/ Keflavik is about 30 miles from the capital so £10-15pp for transport isn't too bad compared to other places. Last time I went (2014) we prebooked a taxi online which cost about 5700Kr (£35). Bus would have been cheaper but this was waiting for us and got us straight the hotel. People don't expect tips in Iceland either so at least the price quoted is the actual price you pay.

Kam_il88

its not snowy at all, i am going comming sunday. you can check current weather condition on road.is; i wouldn't stay in reykiavik, and tours are overpriced - even just trip from keflavik (airport) to reykiavik cost about 10-14£ (sorry dont remember how much it cost last time), for couple, or few ppl, its better and cheaper to rent a car from airport, then just choose few accommodations on your way to interested point, plan your trip, and go sightseeing! there is few more tips to save, for example choose reykjadalur than blue lagoon;) during the winter you are able to see ice/glacial caves, and norhtern lights Ski pants, some thermal underwear and warm jumper, trekking boots will be enough.

colin79666

In March I wouldn't go to Iceland handbaggage only, unless for only a couple of nights. It will be pretty cold and possibly quite wet/snowy so you will need layers and a decent jacket. Hotels are expensive and fairly basic but otherwise it isn't too pricey a place as long as you avoid steaks and alcohol. Reykjavik is small enough that you can just walk everywhere there and keep your money for a few tours to the geysers and such like. Brilliant place and from experience March/April is a good time to visit. Not too many tourists yet some hours of daylight and still a chance of seeing the Northern Lights after dark.

Buyer beware. Travel Trolley are one of the most complained about online travel agent. Search TripAdvisor for that company name and read literally hundreds of posts from people who have suffered in some way due to the business practices of this dodgy online travel agent. Always book directly with airlines if you value your travel to be as protected as is possible. Dodgy online travel agents like this one do not have live prices so they will likely go up when you try to book, or else you may find your booking cancelled due to 'pricing errors', and God forbid there are any changes to your flight as this company will not want to help you. Again - always book directly with the airlines and always use a credit card. Using a third party travel agent is asking for trouble, and using A KNOWN DODGY travel agent like this one is just madness. Do your own research if you don't believe me. Do not use Travel Trolley.

harbhajan.dev

The link Doesn't work as the fare comes out as £ 328

dont think it will include luggage and Travel Trolley is a bit tricky as they always increase their price. Once I searched a price, just putting in 3 people's details and bank details, no more than 10 mins. But once I hit pay, it said session timeout, reload the page, they put the price up by £50 a head. And it is not the first time they did that so I will try to pick another one. Generally, searching on search engine like skyscanner will cause the price to increase if you search too often as their program will think there is a high demand and a potential traveler need to travel on those dates. My advise is book it sooner with less searches, make up you mind about the dates and book quick if the price looks right. The other travel agency may increase the price if you keep searching but this one is the only one will do it while I am in their page and booking.

Just came back from Malta beautiful island with lots of character. Came on a TUI package too a one cost for everything without worries. Easy to travel around and if you digest that there's a lot of construction from a booming economy you'll enjoy it. Funnily enough, the deal pic is the view taken from Terrace rooms in the Cosmo... (Pic from my stay last year)

Foxeh

I went in July, 45 degrees was unbearable!! I still loved it, just a tad too hot for me.

Foxeh

The Cosmo is outstanding, easily the highest quality hotel on the strip (apart from the Wynn, but that’s not as central).

ephadrine

Ok thanks.

Delbert.Grady

Its just a way to get more money out of people. Its a daily charge in addition to the advertised room rate, its often hidden in the small print, and many people only find out about it on check-in, when they are presented with a large additional bill, which can take quite a chunk out of their holiday spending money. The Hotel will claim that its a charge for the use of their facilities, pool, WiFi, etc but its not because you still have to pay it, even if you don't use any of the facilities.

Azwipe

Fantastic price and plenty of other hotels available for not much more. Personally i wouldn't go to Florida for 7 nights, you can't do anything on the first night as you are knackered with the 5 hour time difference. By the time you get into it, the 6 days fly past and it's time to come home ;( One weeks just not worth the jet lag in my opinion. Voted hot as it's a great price.

The only thing I suggest is booking these deals DIRECTLY with level/Iberia. You book through Travelgenio or similar sounding name and get £10/20 discount and about £200 worth of hassle if things go wrong.

jinkssick

:D Theyve done the same to me countless times but I dont moan too much as they have taking me round the world for a pittance. Only thing I gripe at is Jacks Club stealing from these sites and getting monthly membership off people. No bueno.

reindeer333

Deals I post and many others on here often just get ripped and put on other sites without any credit, and as these deals can often take a lot of time and effort to post that is why I lost interest in crediting sites. Maybe it is for the best if the sources were listed though. Strange how on all the other sites these sorts of comments are not posted, (not directly aimed at you!) even on the secret flying deals they copied from me- maybe they are deleted, who knows.

Good find! I've fly with them a few times. The plane and entertainment and food is ok, certainly for almost half the price of Virgin or BA. reindeer333

Fair comment. I am just posting the cheapest prices, at the end of the day it is up to the user to decide whether they wish to fly with that particular airline or not :)

justinlinham

Oh and on the flight back we left late but that was only because we were going to arrive too early and would not have had a slot to land. Left 45 mins late but still landed 10 mins early

justinlinham

I have only used them once and yes it was because they were cheap. But.... The plane was new and had very good in flight entertainment that worked. The service was only beaten by what i received by Cathay and the food wasnt bad at all. I travel a lot but have to do it on a budget and as i cant afford the top end then these guys are no worse than any others. In my experience of course....
