Make sure to fly to Oslo Gardermoen, not Oslo Torp. Gardermoen has much better and faster links to Oslo Central.

Hop on the Flytoget which is the dedicated airport train. Was about £15 each way last time I was there. Whatever you do don't get a taxi unless you're filthy rich! (edited)

I would suggest getting the vy public train (118 NOK) rather than flytoget (230 NOK) if on a budget (one way to Oslo Central). Also it's only a few mins longer than the flytoget.

Skyscanner shows prices from various middle man companies some of them are shady they offer prices much lower than direct with the airline , not all are worth the hassle even if booked with a credit card. Skyscanner are not selling tickets so shouldn't be on hukd as it could be any company just like on Amazon.

I partly disagree. Skyscanner are only a search engine and some of the companies you call "shady" are what are known as "bucket shops" which sell what are known as "consolidated" tickets on behalf of the airlines. Almost all tickets sold have Civil Aviation Authority Protection and payment is best made with credit card as you have acknowledged. I have no views whether Skyscanner should or should not be on HUKD. Maybe some of HUKD's editors and guest editors who often post travel deals might like to comment.

Went to Oslo earlier this year.

Compact, expensive and for me profoundly boring as a city.

Took an early morning flight, stayed one night, flew back the following evening.

    That was long enough.

Excellent find at cracking price especially if you want to add another Capital visited to your list ✈️

Oslo is extortionate if you smoke or drink on holiday …. Nice city. Very clean and very very expensive

Was there at the end of May.
2 Pizzas £40 - if you want wine you are adding £60 to the bill (£100 in total).
Opera house is an amazing building though and free to walk in, around and on !

I’ve visited a few times, totally anti-WEF. Curious to know more about why Oslo would be a WEF city?
