with MSE deals, customer service said no e-sim.. anyone else got that?
    afn's avatar
I have a 1p MSE deal. Sent a physical SIM. Went onto Lyca website and ordered a free eSIM which was sent instantly by email and then did a SIM swap once logged onto my Lyca account. Seamless process and took minutes.

Can I use this in Turkey when I go on holiday?
    KodaBear's avatar
Not for free no. You’d have to sign up for their AloTurka plans if you want inclusive roaming in Turkey.

It’s all happening Three have announced that their creating/merging with Vodafone: vodafoneandthree.uk/home

They need CMAs aaproval, doubt it will go through

How much roaming data do you get on this?
    deanos's avatar
read the terms , it tells you there what you need to know
  5. J_N's avatar
Got my Lyca sim today no mention of O2 on the letter and once I put it in my phone it says EE
  6. v5535's avatar
    One per customer?
    KodaBear's avatar
No you can have more but have to order them all one by one
  7. RandomerWithoutNumbers's avatar
Anybody know if all customers / new customers will be using EE now? O2 is terrible where I'm at and EE would be very ideal for me. Thanks
    KodaBear's avatar
Almost everyone. A few eSIM customers are yet to move over the coming days. If you order a SIM today it will either already be on EE or should otherwise move within 24 hours of activation.
  8. Pottermus's avatar
Is this deal available as an esim?
    KodaBear's avatar
No. You can’t order this deal on eSIM. But you can swap to eSIM once it’s arrived and you’ve activated the physical SIM.

I have Lyca (EE), O2 and ID (three) plans
Amusingly, since Lyca switched to EE, I can get a solid 5G signal on one side of my apartment, but the bandwidth is actually half that of the 4G signal (even with a -85dbM RSP - so I would blame the network, rather than my signal)
Nothing but love for ID/three so far (but no thanks to fonehouse). I don't touch Lebara/Vodafone (would not roam abroad, no matter what I did with APN settings) and Lyca wasn't roaming properly in Spain recently, but that was on O2, so I'll see what happens now that it's on EE.

I know lots of people aren't too fond of lyca, but at this price, I'm gonna give it a go!
    Cheers op 🏼

    Same here!
  11. JonDOnnis's avatar
Lebara is better for roaming data amounts, they will give up to 30 gb i believe.
  12. Jaro244's avatar
Did anyone find out what is the cup amount for roaming?
  13. v5535's avatar
    No longer available:/
    Jon_Red's avatar
I also can’t seem to see anything when I click on the links. which website did you get these from? Maybe a direct link still works on at least one of them.
  14. Kartnet's avatar
I’d go for Lebara over Lyca. Pricing is similar
    amz84uk's avatar
I second that. Lebara is much better.

However, I recently found out that Lyca now uses EE network, rather than o2. So it may be better coverage.

seem to have alot of bad reviews reading on trustpilot also reviews.io (edited)

EE network now Hot 🔥 deal
  17. kingsalad's avatar
Does anyone get wifi calling on EE now?
    Soni210's avatar
    unfortunately not
  18. owtbar's avatar
Could this be used in a EE Mini Mobile for the Data ? (edited)
    KodaBear's avatar
Only if the device is unlocked. It won't accept these SIMs otherwise.

Officially speaking the terms and conditions say you can't use the SIM in anything except for a phone. But in reality they don't seem to care.
  19. SRK's avatar
Does anyone know how to order (family) multiple sim cards?
Or do I need to click the link 3 times separately and order it 3 times? (edited)
    KodaBear's avatar
Have to do it one by one each time starting from scratch.
  20. wakkaday's avatar
    Is Lyca essential ee sim?
    mavericke's avatar
LycaMobile uses EE (piggyback onto EE). However, some of LycaMobile’s plans are relatively cheaper than EE.
  21. dude_se's avatar
Since Lyca did their network upgrade a few days ago (I didn't realise they moved to EE) I've had full 5g quite alot of the time and it's been working alot better overall. Was noticeably poorer (for me anyway) before compared to Lebara, but now I can't really fault the network.

Shame I'm moving back over to Lebara just as they sorted things.
    Jon_Red's avatar
So you have no speed caps? EE maxes out at 1GB I read…
  22. montee's avatar
avoid! avoid! avoid! worst mobile company ever! do not get tempted...you will regret it! I challenge you to find any positive reviews online for them...
    TeeDizzle's avatar
I’ll give you one! Been with them multiple times as I always switch back and forth between them and Lebara. Coverage is fine, switched have always gone through on time and accurately.
  23. mkara's avatar
    Is it definitely on EE?

    50479569-Xw6Uz.jpg
    KodaBear's avatar
Yes. The website hasn’t updated yet but it’s definitely EE.
  24. Jagsme's avatar
Do we get this offer if we switch from a different network provider?
    KodaBear's avatar
Yes. Just order as normal and use your PAC code to keep your number.

Text PAC to 65075 from your current SIM that has the number you want to keep. Then give that to this company when your SIM arrives. The number will usually port the next working day.
  25. andrewmaclennan2's avatar
    Terrible company, cold, cold, cold
  26. ramsesbecerra1's avatar
When I hit get deal it only takes me to the £3.75 (26GB) Any ideas?
    KodaBear's avatar
Look in the deal description for the other links
  27. JustaSingh's avatar
The deals for Lyca are good (in the never ending switching between Lyca and Lebara for the cheap 6 month deals).

Just pray that you never have to use Lyca Customer service...they are truly the worst I've ever experienced (disconnecting on purpose on live chats, calls taking ages then being fobbed off with 'call back in 24hrs', no refunds for no service...

I was caught in the 'your number has been blocked' balls up by them (quite common as you'll see on trustpilot), where they keep your money, don't provide a service and don't give you your PAC code (because they've blocked the number, for some unknown reason).
  28. MaxDamage87's avatar
Can I use my full data limit when I'm abroad in the EU?
    KodaBear's avatar
No. Each plan has its own FUP
  29. MaxLee's avatar
    Where is the lower plan?
    KodaBear's avatar
Other links are all in the deal description.
  30. ssc1's avatar
Hasn't EU roaming now gone from free to chargeable?
    euoi's avatar
What are you basing that claim on?
  31. mkara's avatar
Anyone how long this offer is on for?
  32. Sofiane_'s avatar

Dear Customer, We apologize for the inconvenience caused, the offer has been expired.
  34. Pokora's avatar
26gb offer expired but 17gb still available.
  35. Jon_Red's avatar
So wait, now that it’s moved to EE, has the customer service changed in any way? Or still nothing like as good as Lebara’s?
    KodaBear's avatar
Same customer service people. Just different signal. Though I personally find they are better than Lebara to deal with.
  36. kremix's avatar
    No WiFi calling, right?
    KodaBear's avatar
Not yet. They've confirmed it's on the way though.
  37. Rudidudi's avatar
