I use one of these on pc with a usb adapter. Great headset for the money though can get your ears a bit warm with the faux leather cups in this heat!
The physical mic mute button with a light is useful. Works well with everything I use it for (discord, gaming) and can mix with phone music/calls with the mixer dial in the left cup.

It's an official usb adapter called "Xbox wireless adapter for windows 10" which are surprisingly hard to get hold of these days. You can get cheap alternatives on eBay but I don't know how good they are. They enable stable Xbox controller connections that avoid using Bluetooth too

I’m no Audio expert but I love mine, the fact I can connect it to my Xbox and another device at the same time is priceless

Interesting. How does that work? Does it have some kind of quick switching like the controller does?

Over 8 years I tried many many headsets brands from £10-120 but these were the best to date! They worked superb using Dolby sound on my Xbox, wish they worked on PlayStation too!
Rarely happened but any issues I had with them I simply connected via usb & forced a controller update which always resolved it.
The ability to connect to the Xbox and at the same time connect to your phone/switch audio feed is an underrated incredible feature!

Has anyone found the mic to be really sensitive (picking up thumbstick clicks)? I've tried to sort out via the settings but have not had any joy.

The auto-mute should absolutely be taking care of the clicks. I’ve a Razer controller where most of the buttons are clicky and it never picks it up. My old HyperX one often picked up the trigger vibration, and the buttons of course, with no adjustability.

What do you need to connect this to pc?

There are two ways. As mentioned you can use bluetooth. You can also use the MS Wireless Xbox adapter, however that is sold separately. BT is as you would expect, it works as a standard BT audio device. With the Xbox adapter it's exactly the same as when using it with an Xbox. The adapter can also be used for connecting Xbox controllers to the PC too.

The downsides are the extra cost and when using the adapter there is no way to quickly switch between an xbox and pc. You just have to resync the headset each time. I think there are much better options out there for PC. (edited)

Great price and the best headset I’ve owned but having said that I went from a £10 one to these.

Sound quality fab! I play warzone and can hear footsteps for example crystal clear. Connects super easy to Xbox and battery life is fab!

Downside of these are there far too tight! I don’t game for long periods somewhere between 1-2 hours but I know when I’m reaching 2 hours as my ears really start aching.
And finally the leather in summer leads to sweaty ears/headset.

I’ll likely upgrade these within the next 6 months.

    7/10 for me

    Excellent headset for the money.

Might use the Rewards points on this as they don’t let you use them on design lab anymore. Tempting!

Personally I would opt for steelseries arctis 1 wireless (for Xbox). It's phenomenal and normally about this price new on eBay (when I bought), but currently £80 at Amazon.

The only downside of the Arctis is it is NOT USB-C. (edited)

    Is this new or refurbed?

How comfortable are these? Tried few headsets and after few hours they became uncomfortable
    FireOnAWire's avatar
I found this to be very uncomfortable. Too tight fitting. Squashes your head too much.

Gonna put it on ebay when I get time.

    Thanks OP!

Been wanting wireless for a while, will just drop into Curry’s and buy a couple tomorrow I think. Thanks

If you need mic monitoring just be aware it doesn’t work with this headset. Microsoft were supposed to fix it but never did

Just set one of mine up, well impressed, wish I purchased sooner!!
