Do you have the ability to access the same parental controls on a normal echo dot? I think my little one will think he's too cool for a dragon or an owl!
Yes, there is a kids mode that you can enable
Does the prime kids stack?No. Once activated it replaces your previous sub. If you paid for it you should get a pro-rata refund. If the previous sub was free you loose remaining days.
If you don't link the Echo to your account when you buy it then activation of the sub shouldn't happen until you register it.

Just to remind people these have restricted connectivity, eg no access to BBC, and I'm sure theres plenty of other stations etc it will not connect too.This is only while parental controls are enabled. If you want to use as a regular unrestricted dot you can just disable the kids mode when you choose.- Excellent price. Scorchio

Thats what I've done, sub is up in Sept so will keep this sealed till then and activate it then sell it on for a free year sub

Does this Amazon dot work if I don't have Amazon prime? I have a Amazon echo show and it's basically a alarm clock because I don't have Amazon prime & Spotify.You don't need Prime, neither Spotify to use an Echo device. You do need the Alexa app.
If I buy two of these can you stack the Kids+ two get two years?
I think you would have to activate one now and the second one in a years time- funny, if you turn on parental controls, you can't use the "fart skill". The thing which provides my kids with endless joy and I doubt many adults would enjoy. lol.
Is the one year Amazon kids+ only on this? Was tempted to get a fire 8 kids tablet but I can’t see it stated on there?
Otherwise I’ll buy both. Cheaper than subscribing.
