My experience with Cheapest Electrical is mixed (like all used phone sellers on eBay).
I've ordered a fair few phones from them over several years and a lot have had to go back.
The problem is that their descriptions are not very accurate, and they start getting shirty with you if you return several phones over a period of time.

I guess it depends on your luck. Not doubting your experiences at all but I've ordered 5 phones from them over 4-5 years now and all of them have been spot on, and I'd go as far as to say they've mostly exceeded my expectations. But, I don't doubt dud ones also get through as well. (edited)

This is a good price for Excellent condition, basically matching the most recent student deal if you sell the Buds.

That was £100 phone discount, £100 trade-in, £100 cash back and free Buds2Pro

May help some, there's 3% Topcashback on ebay today as well. Could be an extra £14 or so off. (edited)

I want a good camera and good phone performance, currently got a Poco X3 pro but want something nicer and better, especially in the camera department. Should I go for this by stretching the budget or is there any say s21 ultras going for a good price? Is this better than the s21 ultra and does it warrant the price difference?

How about the Pixel's? Often cheaper than the Samsung's and a lot better camera's than the Poco?

Well for one thing the S23 may have a faulty camera unit on them its dubbed bananagate see here
you can google it also lots of articles but that one I linked if you read at the bottom they update the issue.

It may not effect all S23s though, so if you do still decide to go for it please test the camera for that fault, as the article says its usually occurring when taking documents with a blur on one side issue.

Pixel 7a I had owned for almost a week now, its certainly got a few niggles like finger print sensor not the most accurate, outside sunny days you need to put brightness up max just to see it but the battery I find is ok to good but I just found out today google pixel phones do not support miracast or cast on TV mode so its going back 100%, which it was anyhow since its a faulty refurb. I am unsure how Google can release £450 or £800 flag ship phones and not support a basic phone feature that even a £49 phone can.

I think these big branded corporations release lemons each year forcing customers to upgrade yearly like its some lemon scam system

How are Cheapest Electrical for returns anyhow if there is a fault or you don't like it?
    plewis00's avatar
Easy, returns are zero fuss and processed within days. But if you buy the right grade, I wouldn't expect any reason to return.

Just remembered is there any warranty at all with Cheapest Electrical?

edit just spotted it has 12 months on all items sold shown here

    Good stuff! (edited)
