They're only going to cancel on you!

Flown with them 7 times this year. No cancellations.

    Including last week. Absolutely smooth.

Have been quite skeptic about the so-called flash sales. My experience with Ryanair was the price before the sale and after was identical (or sale price was worse).

I actually booked an Easyjet flight last night to Kefalonia, and the price I get now with this 'flash sale' is £10 dearer

Great one way tickets. Who wants to come back

Are you sure you be taking off ?
More cancellations than BR (British rail)

They seem to be dropping prices every month obviously couldn’t sell them at ludicrous Covid prices anymore.

I second that. But it could also be down to a stronger pound in the recent months?

Just looked for two adults and one child, the £20 pp quickly becomes £433 (for family) at the cheapest inc one 15kg luggage only, what a successful marketing strategy!! Same as Ryanair… crap in a nice shell sold to us. (edited)

Same here, got excited with £88 trip that turned out £330 with small cabin bag, then checked flightradar so many delays that will cost more on the trips to and from the airport.

Out of curiosity I checked the flights (towards one of those destinations and within that time frame) I purchased a couple of months ago without any discount and cost has doubled!

I wouldn't take the risk with the cancellation, and almost 88% of flights delayed going on for months.

Having recently flown with Easyjet (2 weeks ago), while the cabin crew were great the actual travel was disrupted both ways. That would not have been as bad had we not been lied to about the cause and amount of delay while on the plane. Cabin crew said the truth while the pilot did not. Seems to me they are having a sale because they are going down hill.

Big Tube Strikes announced for next week now, alongside the National Rail ones , alongside these Cancelled planes etc... Looks like a time to enjoy the garden / bed this summer (edited)

With strikes and cancellations I’m holidaying home this year.

Whenever I search for flights, and no matter how early I search, during school holidays the low cost carriers are always the most expensive. Tap, Swiss, Norwegian, Lufthansa have always been cheaper.

Didn t they just cancelled 15k flights?

Just seen but 1.7K, rather than the 15K you've quoted (Not that it's much help for those they've cancelled)

Due to ongoing issues with airtraffic control

Clever choice of wording, "up to" 15% off.
They probably put the base prices up 20% in the last week before they announced the "sale".
Also, factor in +£60 minimum if you want to add a standard carry on bag. Add-ons aren't discounted by 15% either.

Still going to be 50% more than Ryan Air..

They’ve just cancelled thousands of flights departing from Gatwick

Just a question return flights to some destinations are over £300-£400 I can fly long haul for that price does anyone actually pay this price.
