More than smart. Brilliant.
Watch films, TV programmes and live sport come to life on a brilliant 4K QLED display with bright, vivid and lifelike colours. Full-array local dimming creates amazing contrast, bringing cinematic and HDR content to an entirely new level. An all-new Fire TV Ambient Experience brings atmosphere to your room.

The next generation of HDR
Bring your viewing experience to a new level of luminance, realism and colour depth with Dolby Vision IQ and HDR10+ Adaptive—the latest in HDR technology. With support for HDR 10 and HLG standards, you can watch even more films and series in breathtaking colour.

Picture perfect in any light
With Adaptive Brightness, Fire TV is optimised to display a wide range of content in different environments. A built-in ambient light sensor allows the display to adjust screen brightness to your lighting conditions. Additionally, Dolby Vision IQ and HDR10+ Adaptive use this sensor to intelligently display every detail with incredible brightness, contrast and colour to deliver a perfect picture in any room at every moment.

Striking contrast
Full-array local dimming dramatically improves constrast through [48 - 50”, 64 - 55”] zones that adjust independently to increase or reduce lighting intensity in specific areas of the screen. This helps to unlock details in dark areas, and resolve subtle tones that might be lost in the brightest parts of the picture.

This TV was awful for me personally. Poor interface and image quality. Ended up returning and getting a QLED Hisense. Night and day difference.

Mine's arriving Wednesday... what HiFi review for RRP, at this price I think this is a proper bargain!

Another surprise is just how well-specified the Omni QLED is for gaming. The panel has a refresh rate of just 60Hz, so 120Hz gaming is off the menu, but ALLM and VRR are supported, and there’s even a Dolby Vision game mode, which is something that Sony doesn’t offer on any of its TVs (at least until the A95L hits shops). We measured input lag at under 11ms, which is very fast for any TV, let alone one at the affordable end of the spectrum. - taken from that What-Hi-Fi review

Just what I was looking for. I'll need to consider if I upgrade from my LG49SM8050PLC now

I have the 43 Inch of this TV which does not have local dimming. got it when it first came out for £349. its my second one already as the first one developed a bleeding fault with the screen, it went half green. Customer service was a nightmare as they got me confused with another customer and insisted in doing alot of wasted troubleshooting then didnt admit it was there fault till the end. Really put a bad taste regarding amazon customer service. No apologies or anything. second TV working for now. its ok QLED quality well you pay for what you get. its ok for what i use it for in the home office but I would not get it for the main TV.

Brilliant price. I am waiting for good deals on HDMI 2.1 120hz ones to go with my Xbox X. If not for that would have got the 65 inch one

Looked at these and they seem ok but you can pickup a superior QLED Hisense or TCL for significantly cheaper. If built-in Alex is important to you then the Omni is still worth considering i guess.

Superior? I can still cancel/return if you supply a link. I was careful to check reviews from trusted sites before committing. At retail I would concur, but discounted, not so much. I am always willing to be educated though.

The reviews has put me off this telly. I have a Firestick 4k Max so i dont care about the Amazon builtin features. The local dimming seems like a gimmick to me - 48 zones? Not very granular. For those that have a tv with local dimming, has it made a difference to you, and if so how many zones does it have?

Dear admin, this deal expired at midnight on here for some reason, but it's still available. (edited)

Tempted to get the 65. I have a 55” medion job bought a few years ago from Lidl for 239 or similar. Looking to upgrade but not break the bank. Is this a decent choice?

Is there something special about these, as they look quite expensive for smart qled tvs unless a top brand

Surprised by that comment, for similar spec I was looking at LG's and Samsungs which were considerably more expensive, spec for spec and reviews wise the sale price goes up against budget brands. I have Prime and Alexa products, for me it is a bit of a no brainer.

Anyone have any knowledge of this vs the TCL 55CF630K? It looks very similar in specs and the reviews are all positive yet its cheaper so something doesn't seem right. Ive read the Fire TV is made by TCL so possibly the same QLED panel?

    This one or TCL C735K?
