Anyone got good suggestions on hypoallergenic wet cat food ? My cat has grain allergy and my current batch is running out , however its so much more expensive than normal food so would be good to know if there is any deals out there on hypoallergenic/ grain free

Zooplus carries a good selection of wet and dry food including those manufactured in European & Scandinavian countries that have higer quality standards for pet food than the UK. Bozita, (Swedish), for example, makes wet and dry food that is grain free (not all of them - do check) and has a good protein content. Worth a browse if you're interested in finding your cat better quality foods than typically stocked by UK supermarkets.

This one still shows a voucher here. Price shown is for 5% discount, but add 5 items on subscribe & save & the discount will increase to 15%.

Always use allaboutdogfood.co.uk/ to help explain those typically obfuscated ingredients companies love to use.

Yep. Most of these listed foods aren’t doing anything for the pets at all. Butchers is one of the best dog foods. 50% meat. No bulking agents

Great post, but I paid much lower prices! Can we have one for decent cat litter please, this is what I need ? (edited)

    Wilko cat litter.

Anyone recommend where to get cheap wet dog tins in bulk I was buying off pets at home there adult chunks 24 pack but they’ve since removed delivery on those so switched to Asdas own brand which is significantly more expensive

Try zooplus. They are competitive, the loyalty club is generous and signing up to join makes an even bigger dent in the bill. Two of mine have Rocco and I haven't found any with such a high percentage of meat at anywhere near the same price

Good price for the pack of 2

Any tinned catfood? pouches are terrible for recycling.

Best I've found recently is Morrisons £9 for 12x 400g, combined with online voucher codes for spending over a certain amount

Lidl do a cheaper x6 pack but mine won't eat it.

Let me know if you find any better deals

Dog treats (grain free) used to come up regularly on Amazon for decent prices. For a while I had over 12 months worth in storage. Came to the end of them a few months back and I would say over the last 6 months I have seen nothing worth buying. Odd how for years deals are plentiful and then lately nothing. So called Prime deals on them are nothing to shout home about. They are a lot more expensive than I have paid many times over the years

I did the same and almost running out! Also got my dog loads of Pooch & Mutt treats when they were on offer a couple of months ago - they last for 18 months ish usually!

I would highly recommend signing upto petsathomes VIP club.
I just had a 30% off everything voucher last week alongside others, stocked up and managed to save over £75 on my order.

    Supermarket own brands cheapest

It actually isn’t though. If you compare an example - Winalot x 40 pouches for £9.99; the same amount of Aldi’s (typically the cheapest) would cost you 27p a 100g pouch (£3.29/12). Winalot costs 24p a pouch, for 100g!

Our fussy cat has decided she loves that Lidl Coshida paté. 39p a tin
  14. ScorchingHot's avatar
For anyone interested, Pedigree Mega Box - Schmackos are £4.55, for 110! Around £6.50 elsewhere I believe!
