  • 【7-Weeks of Hands-Free Cleaning】The Auto-Empty Dock Pure empties the robot vacuum automatically after cleanup, so you don’t have to do it manually or frequently. With its 2.5L dust bag it stores up to seven weeks of debris.
  • 【Deeper Cleaning with Powerful 4200Pa Suction】 With an incredible maximum suction power of 4200Pa, the Q7 Max+ easily lifts debris and pet hair from floors, drags it from cracks, and draws it from carpets. When a carpet is detected, it will automatically increase its suction to the maximum for deep cleaning.
  • 【Twin Cleaning Power】 Robot vacuum cleaner with mop at the same time to remove fine dust that vacuuming alone may miss. Equipped with an electronic pump, the Q7 Max+ offers 30 water flow levels so you can fine-tune cleaning to match your floor types and preferences.
  • 【Clean Smarter with PreciSense LiDAR Navigation】Extremely accurate LiDAR navigation creates precise maps of your home, effectively tracks cleaning routes, unlocks a wide range of smart cleaning functions, and can even be viewed in 3D. You can also add furniture and floor materials to recreate your home virtually.
  • 【Combined Dustbin & Water Tank】 Combining the 470 ml dustbin and 350 ml water tank has made both larger, so that you can clean more without emptying or refilling.
  • 【Upgraded Brush System】An all-rubber brush strongly resists hair tangles making it ideal for tackling long hair and pet hair. With four planes of movement, it stays close to the floor for more effective cleaning on uneven surfaces.

Not a bad price, still waiting for a decent deal for the S8

One of the reviews of the seller:

    1 out of 5 stars
I received a bag of charcoal instead of the Roborock Q7 Max. Judging by the other comments, it was done this way on purpose. I also believe that they deliberately chose charcoal to send, so when I tried to return it, the shipping companies wouldn't accept it because it's a flammable material. However, thanks to Amazon I manage to send it back and get a refund. Do not order from this seller!

I am not buying it at the moment but if anyone does and receives the item, I would be happy to hear.

There's plenty of stuff that goes missing from couriers. Xiaomi used to have a big problem with this particularly in and around London. I can only speak of my own experience. I think if this was the norm Amazon would stop dealing with them. Mine arrived perfectly packaged. (edited)

After seeing the Dreame D10 Plus on here yesterday I did a lot of research and decided to go for the roborocks s8 for £459 last night. This looks pretty good for £399 and had it been available yesterday I might well have gone for it.

I really want the the latest features of the s8 though like the object detection and the vibrating and lifting mop head so sticking with it. Considering I will have to refill the water and take it up and down the stairs, I decided it won't be too much effort to empty it at the same time and the money would be better spent on a better model robot/vacuum itself rather than the self emptying unit. Also took into account the costs of the bags for the self emptying unit. Plus the charging only dock means I can hide it under a chair rather than on display. That said seems like a good purchase for those that don't need the extra features the s8 has and want a more automated system. (edited)

Hmm, you make a good point about the bags, which might not be so bad if you could actually get the official bags here, but all the 3rd party ones I can find with actual reviews say that they don't seal properly. I might just return the Q7 Max+ that's arriving tomorrow and splash the little extra on the S8. (edited)

I went with S8 and it’s pretty good, it covers all the area, identifies carpet. Mopping is basic. It pushes small toys on the floor, goes around the legs of dining table. It takes about 50% battery to vacuum and mop a 4 bedroom house.

I picked up the Dreame D10 Plus Robot for £250 yesterday. Is the Roborock worth the extra £150? I would prefer Roborock as I trust the brand but features look identical between them

Sounds nice, wish they'd have a version without mop. Would be Q5 or something right?
S8 seems promising, but then again I don't want mop feature.

Yeah I would have preferred the Q5 myself but they don't sell it in the UK.

I got the S8 for £492 on Amazon yesterday. It has obstacle avoidance and a better mop compared to the Q7 Max

Congratulations. the S8 also doesn't have a self emptying dock which might be more important to some people. Some may not even need a mop. Swings and roundabouts.

Back on. It's also still available on Amazon in white for £399 but only when using the £100 voucher.

That's the Max not the Max+. So no self emptying dock unfortunately.
