Multiple reviews state they received the 6950 XT model despite the product name / title wrongfully stating 6900 XT.

Amazon only changed the product name / title to 6900 XT for some reason, likely just a mistake (was previously 6950 XT). Everything else still links to the 6950 XT (manufacturer code, specification in the description, and reviews etc.). Would be safer to buy the 6950 XT from Sc*n for the same price (Amazon is price matching) but can't post them (they are also eligible for the free Starfield game).

    I run a 6950XT with a 5800X3D, 1 nvme and 2 Sata SSD's with 16GB ram off an SF600 psu

    Key thing is with the RX600 series is to undervolt. Same performance for less watts.

    Hot hot hot! This is probably the best card to be buying right now, and was the best value even at £600. I think it's quite big though. I should be all over this but honestly don't think I'd notice the difference between 100hz and 175hz 1440p... Just numbers on a screen at that point (edited)

    I thought I wouldn't, but since getting a 165hz monitor I cannot go back to only 60 or 75hz. Plus being able to cap games to 60-120fps with vsync off and get little or no noticeable screen tear is fantastic.

    no just wait for a 7900XT or 7900XTX to drop in price

    6800XT is still very strong and powerful GPU just not in ray tracing but not many care about that as its very taxing and heavily dependent on AI Upscaling for playable framerates (edited)

    People need to avoid buying 'bad deal' GPU's. Buying good deal GPU's like this should be encouraged, on the other hand. It shows that we're not all just sitting out on buying new GPU's in general and that the demand is still there if only they'll offer us reasonable value.

    It's a good deal, a very fast card even if not top end anymore, and will be more interesting when AMD finally launches FSR3/DLSS equivalency. I mean in an ideal world you run native, but DLSS is starting to get really good to the point that unless you're freeze framing it's hard to see a difference in many cases.
    I'm not talking frame generation though, that is not great, but just plain DLSS quality mode if used at 1440p or higher.
    If you nix the Starfield and had wanted it, you're only paying equivalent of around 460 for the card. (edited)

    The 6900 XT is a pretty good card. I have had mine almost a year now and it has no problems with games at 1440p so recommended.

    Any chance my current CPU can run this card as well as 5600g : Cooler Master V550 Gold V2 550W.

    My build showing est. 534 wattage.

    Only built it last year and have been waiting out the GPU craziness but this card at this price looks to be the right card to tie me over and upgrade mboard cpu next 2 or so years. (edited)

    you will definitely need atleast bare minimum 850w PSU and your CPU may bottleneck your gpu

    Why on earth does everything have to be such a clusterf*ck today... After searching for so long (and hoping Prime day would bring something reasonable), I find the Strix 6950XT LC on ebay- only for the retailer to cancel it, and now I miss this by a few hours *sigh*. Few days earlier, I even missed out on a 3080 Ti. Guess I'll just wait until the end of the year when (hopefully) the XTX gets to a decent price. (edited)
