Spoke to live chat they said the anytime only covers quiet days. So put in a complaint
Very annoying with kids considering the price you pay!

The queue times are so bad and unreliable that they removed these from the app so you can only view them once you're in the park.
(Also their safeguarding/ security is awful, I've had to report something to a third party because Alton Towers refused to make a complaint/ do any paperwork. )
Please don't waste your money for the summer period. (March - June is the best quietest time for the park.)
Didn't pay the extra fast pass, as others mentioned try plan to go when kids are not off school.
The park opened earlier than advertised so go as early as you can as the standard car park (chargeable) need monorail to get to park entrance and further queue to enter. Arriving early head to your must go rides first as wait time in early morning tends to be less ppl.
Bring water bottle where possible save time and money. Possibly some snacks when queueing. Waterproof wear if going on water ride
managed to get through some of the rides atleast twice, but its not worth it to go alton towers. They stopped people going into certain rides 45mins before closing, even the ones with lines that werent that long.
Nemesis is closed during 2023
Think about it the bigger the queues the more people that will buy fast track passes and more money for them . They just don't care about the customer just money . It really should be free entry
Don't bother you'll be so disappointed
