UPDATE; several posters have stated the best discount to be had is by placing the article in your basket but don't checkout. You will then be sent a 10% discount code which actually converts to a 20% code when you use it. It's not a generic code, it's a individual one but appears it can be used by someone else.

I've tried it and it works but obviously no guarantees!

Brand new product.

I may be teaching granny to suck eggs here but I had no idea how many people can qualify for a 10% discount at Ninja Kitchen - namely key workers, over 55s and young professionals!

Here's the relevant info
ninjakitchen.co.uk/discount-codes-cms-page.vouchers

Being an old codger I registered for the Over 55 senior discount, simply uploaded a pic of my driving licence and voila, a 10% discount code (which I suspect is individually produced so i can't post it here) popped up which seems to work on any product (but don't shoot me if it doesn't). Certainly worked on this new Ninja Dual and boy did it need to bring the price down!

Thank you! I just checked my emails from discount for carers and saw the 15% off. Husband said I could buy one once I showed him I can cook a whole leg of lamb in it

I caved in and bought it yesterday. I used the 20% code after leaving it in my basket.

Please note the dimensions on the Ninja website are jumbled up. I called Ninja yesterday and they were only able to quote the same measurements that were on their website.

I'm leaving the proper dimensions here so people know for future reference. The depth of the basket isn't that good. It's 3cm less than the Instant Versazone. The width and height are good though.

The handle on the sides of the basket takes up a bit of space too but the space on my kitchen surface in front of the airfryer is good. I don't have handles sticking out like the Versazone or Ninja Dual.

    Here are the measurements!

    Airfryer dimensions in cm:
    H33, W49.6 (including handle on both sides) & D31.6.

    Internal whole basket in cm:
    H14 (without plate), H12 (with plate), W37 & D22.

Each side of the basket W18.5 & D22.

Is it just me or is this a downgrade? Surely 2 seperate draws are more useful? :/

Depends how you look at it, if you find dual drawers limiting as to what you cook then the option of converting to one big basket will appeal. However, the downside here is no matter how little you are cooking you've always got to wash a big, cumbersome drawer, and one with a handle which makes it even more difficult.

The best solution is the Duronic dual airfryer which comes with 2 drawers but gives the option to buy a standalone 10.1l large drawer that simply slots in to the space.

Only 1 year warranty in the Duronic though which is disappointing

However, the exciting news here is the large drawer fits both the Tower 9l dual air fryer s, both of which have a 3 year warranty

Or buy the insta pot one for £150.00.
It gives you 1 drawr or 2 for a fraction of the price on amazon

Only fly in ointment is Instant have filed for Chapter 11 Protection from bankruptcy?
(Wording amended due to a subsequent post from clarifying the situation)

The best idea on this type of product is Duronic who sell a normal dual basket air fryer but also sell an optional 10.1l large basket that simply slots in where the duals were.

Really interesting thing is this large Duronic basket also fits both the Tower T17088 and Tower T17100 (edited)

    Didn't know this discount existed.

Mind you it is the same as my student discount I think

The NHS discount is 15% at the moment so slightly better.

I knew about the NHS & student discount but didn't know about the rest. Key workers seems to include a lot of professions. Big surprise was the Young Professionals (we used to call them yuppies in my day ) (edited)

I placed it in my basket and then logged out. Within an hour i was sent a code for 10% off and when applying it at checkout it gave 20% discount. Looks like the best option and biggest discount

Was actually looking to buy the Instant Pot Versazone, but the control panel looked very scratched in the shop, so preferred the appearance of the Ninjas.

Luckily I stumbled across this today. Left in basket and forgot to check out. Then received a 10% off code, but when applied actually took 20% off the total 😁 Plus extra £16.83 with TopCashback. So just couldn’t resist for £199 (edited)

    Argh I forgot about TopCashBack

Good deal with the discount, bought it but not used yet, does anybody know if any of those silicon liner/basket type things actually work?
    Loubou's avatar
I've seen some people on Facebook say they work well. I've also seen other people say they don't and that they block the air from circulating as they block the vents in the crisper tray. Probably depends on what you use them for. I've not tried any in any of my airfryers to comment. You might have to try them out and see. Buy them from somewhere you can easily send them back if they don't work well for you.

I'm after getting one of these, does anyone know if the compartments are watertight when the partition is in so you don't get crossover with food juices etc and so you can fill them with hot water in them to clean it
    Loubou's avatar
The basket isn't completely flat the whole way across. It's got a little ledge halfway across that the divider sits on. A crisper plate fits on either side of the ledge and divider. With this in mind, any food juices that drop down from the food under the crisper plate on one side, shouldn't contaminate the other side. The ledge should stop it unless the oil were to drop directly onto the ledge bit. The divider fits quite snug though.

If you fill one side with water, it will go into the other side. It's not watertight. A couple of people in a Facebook group I'm in tested it out and said the water went to the other side. The water will be higher than the ledge if you fill it.

Hope this all makes sense? Let me know if you have further questions?

These are getting bigger and bigger by the day. It won't be long before I'll be back to using my built-in oven!

If I was in the market for a new one I would consider it. But having gone from “I don’t need an airfryer” to having the 451, Speedi and woodfire, I am not falling into Ninjas trap for a while yet!
  13. WesD84's avatar
So this is pretty much the same as the AF300/400, but with a single large drawer instead of two separate ones?

Why don't they just release the draw element on its own, so people don't need to buy a whole new device. (edited)
    BlackCloud's avatar
You wouldn't last 5 minutes in the marketing department!

My only disappointment with Ninja is the coating on the draws, they get knocked and mark very easily. The coating needs to be more robust.

oh your kidding me...... i just got a AF400 in the recent sale and they drop this mega beast.....

And I'm sure it is This is basically a copy of the Instant Versazone so not revolutionary. Like the Instant, the only drawback i see is even if you are only using half of the basket the whole flipping thing has to be washed. And will it fit in the sink?? (edited)

Maybe I have too many blockers on this browser and it couldn't trigger a code, someone just DM'd me one and it worked perfectly for 20% off, so got a brand new air fryer on the way!
    Loubou's avatar
That's good to hear you're sorted. I hope you enjoy your new air fryer!

This Ninja seems to have deeper drawers than the Instant VersaZone (not that great a feature) to increase the volume claim and more wattage (2450w) enabling a 240c maximum.

I noticed they are now only claiming a saving of 45% of oven energy cost… (edited)
  20. Loubou's avatar
I hope the price drops and that Lakeland start selling it. It looks nice. I think it will be better than my Instant Versazone.
  21. Bestbitter's avatar
Pro’s and Cons to this new model. Yes, you can get a large joint in it, but if you want it for every day use that only needs one drawer, you still have to take out the huge drawer to clean. Very happy with my Ninja AF300UK, by the way, and it was half the price of this new model. (£120) (edited)

Agreed. Pretty much what I said earlier (and I am also happy with my AF300 bought on Prime Day 21 for £130).

Can't seem to get this magical 10/20% code that some people have had, any idea how to get it by leaving in basket?
    Loubou's avatar
My code came through a few hours later. I signed in and popped it in my basket. I made sure my cookies were on too. Then I signed out. The code came through later.
