Good price for a prebuilt with a premium case.

You can select upgrades such as +£59.99 for 5700x and +£24.99 for Gigabyte Gaming X ATX Motherboard, although I would be wary adding much additional cost as the price will be near 4070 systems posted here.

Good deal for a pre-built as you are only saving £40 when buying all the parts separately uk.pcpartpicker.com/lis…f7R

Built properly with a warranty.. still good tbf

It is a smart looking case and a decent price for the build considering the case.
The only negative is the low budget QLC NAND SSD, also SATA instead of NVMe which most builds come with these days.
Not all QLC drives are very poor, but that one is.

Just remember, you're not getting the cooler that's in the image. (edited)

    I agree
An m.2 drive would be a big upgrade worth doing if is an option instead of a low budget SATA SSD

In case you get confused, like I did, this comes with 16GB of system RAM. The 8GB is just the graphics memory
    plsnoimmoist's avatar
The only thing holding me back to be honest. Wanting a little bit of future proofing at 1440p so 8GB of VRAM ain't gonna cut it for future AAA releases.

Still waiting on a 6700XT deal. Should've just made the 4060 12GB instead.

Would this be good for games such as Dead by Daylight, the Sims 4 with all packs, and doing things such as video editing and web design?
    dap54's avatar
Those aren’t demanding games whatsoever, they will run with no issues.

Interesting case, the front grille looks wooden

It's made from real wood, a really nice and well reviewed case.

I'd be careful with these guys, a friend of mine purchased a prebuilt and they swapped out parts for far worse ones without notifying him. Then refused to do anything about it when he complained.

I absolutely love this case! I saw it on ltt a while back and have wanted ever since, seriously tempted by this. Cheers OP

Love the fractal case. This was the case i was going to use to build and replace my 10 year old computer. I'm tempted to bite the bullet - i've always built my PC's but might go for the pre-built.

The case can be swapped out for a white version for no extra cost.

I was in a similar position when building my new build, Paid a fortune for a Corsair 760t case about 8-9 years ago and just couldn't part with it.

Just decided to modify it to suit, Albeit if you don't like RGB you'll hate it

    Oooh, nice!

Aye that's my favourite case atm. Next build in 2024/2025 I'm going for that case or if there's anything similar at the time.
  12. y_knot_me's avatar
    That case is beautiful
  13. Bubba.Ho-Tep's avatar
Shame there is not more choice for a beefier spec, 4070/ti options would have been nice with this case as an alternative to RBG cases.

Nice looking unit and a decent built, heat added
  15. mackashworth's avatar
    Damn, I like that case.

Classy, minimalistic, sleek case.... Not tacky and juvenile like most.

Im lookkng for something for VR racing Sim / something that I won’t have to upgrade for a while. I got Recommended a i5 13th with 4080 I think? Any suggestions? (edited)
  21. Daves_mate's avatar
I wish they did an ITX or mATX version of this case needs to be about 40% smaller. That would be perfect. (edited)

A 1TB M2 is only an extra £18…has to be worth doing that right?
    The.Fat.Cat's avatar
    Sort of.
It is 1TB, but it's still DRAM-less QLC NAND.

None of the SSD upgrades are good value really, you'd be better off buying your own decent NVMe drive and using the 500GB SATA one as storage.
  23. CroMoly's avatar
Is this cheaper that buying the parts separately?
  24. joey.maxwell's avatar
Love that case, it's a pity this doesn't include windows for the price.
    mickmartin16's avatar
Only an extra £10 for windows these days mate,

I like this, it's a solid build for PC gaming on a tight budget who don't want to think to hard about it. CPU is firmly last gen but a good performer and still a very good match for the GPU. Case is well reviewed and looks awesome. No poor parts chosen per say, should do very well at 1440p for two to three years. It's an AM4 platform which is eol, but a cheap 5800x3d/cooler and GPU upgrade down the road is a path that might easily keep this build gaming relevant for a good bit longer...
    The.Fat.Cat's avatar
No poor parts chosen per say

Other than what is probably the worst SATA SSD you can buy (that isn't some random named brand from Ali).
I'm guessing they put them in there as no one is buying them, gotta shift the stock somehow.

A £36 1TB NVMe drive like the Kioxia Exceria (which has DRAM cache) as the boot drive will fix that problem, so not a big deal.

Everything else is fine for a solid 1080p machine (or 1440p with DLSS/frame gen). (edited)
