not a great deal for a b grade laptop, also if you have any issues you will wait months for a refund, check trustpilot and (annoyed)

Pretty mediocre tbh.

I thought it was not bad if your after a 17 inch laptop. Lenovo's is £1,249 with nearly same spec but AMD version processor

Not sure its a great deal for a 2060? Refurb B, similar price to recent Lenovo's with 3060's

## long history with CCL for me in terms of hotukdeals for all u new folks who now watch me. It all started with CCL. and this bloke @Tacavas He's the man which found the original Ebay code which worked on an amazing CCL prebuilt and at the time i was looking for a new system for my lad, i usual build but the price was just so amazing it was worthless to build. did need some items changing but thats when it all kicked off with ideas of buying it then calling n custom pitch and it worked out getting the items i wanted cheaper then i could build; shared it and the idea went wildfire and then thats how it all started from that point back in 2019. if anyone needs any CS help from CCL email this guy: ADAMH@cclonline.com - one of the best guys who works out of all these tec firms going.

I just had a 3070 replaced in a pre-built that arrived last week, so they might still have stock. Both the original and replacement cards were Gigabyte 8GB OC. The process was painless, quick and very friendly and I had my PC delivered back working fine all in 1 week. A bit more expensive but can't fault them for customer service.

I managed to order before the price hike. Will keep you all posted with what they do :-)

considering they still got 3070 in other lines. they should. let me know.

I purchased one prior to the price hike. Let's see if they cancel. Thanks for the deal OP.

gsync on dedicated gpu and freesync on intergrated graphics with mux chip.

Is there anyone who has this or a previous model that could tell me if they have some sort of freesync/g sync compatibility?

Cheapest laptop with HDMI 2.1!!!! Can output to 8K

Yep,it's still active.

Ordered, thanks OP - weird that no student discounts worked, but 10% off seems like a good enough deal anyway. Went for the better screen, 16GB RAM (didn't want to faff) and the uprated battery. £962.99

Yeah, very true. Tempted to go with the ROG 3 still :/ can't see a massive difference with the ROG 5

Probably, although it doesn't have performance difference with the 16 GB versions according to reviews. I'd be wary of handing over £1k for a device that doesn't have good customer support from what I am reading.

That'll be like gold dust, won't it?

It didn't look like he used that much force, it was actually a bit of a shock that such a good and pricey phone would snap like that.

I think that in a difficult situation it wouldn't be enough. I keep my phones for a long time so a difficult situation will arise at some point. If there is such a case I'd honestly consider it as the Rog 3 isn't much cheaper. Also, on the GSMArena review they said the fan snapped as the method of putting it on isn't as good as on the rog 3.

Is the touchpad carbon fibre?

Ah ok that would explain it - I was trying to use it on one of the i7 models. The search continues...

Make sure you write TELECODE030 rather than TELECODE30, I made that mistake

It works but only on the 2 sale items at £799 (comes out £639) and the better one I mentioned listed at £899. Just tried it again. https://www.lenovo.com/gb/en/laptops/legion-laptops/legion-5-series/Legion-5i-17/p/82B3002QUK

Is that actually Currys then? Some fake sellers rename themselves as Currys sometimes. I was able to nab this model for about £75 less around a month ago. It was a grade B customer return and I think I found out as to why it was returned soon after. The condition of it was absolutely fine for a B grade but when I got past the windows setup I was then getting BSOD's stating memory issues. After a bit of testing and deciding if I was going to replace the RAM anyway I ran the Lenovo Vantage system test which confirmed there was an issue and I was taken through a Lenovo service desk where they arranged a UPS pickup to fix. This happened all this week and it's on it's way back to me now apparently fixed. Depending on how it is when returned I think it will be worth extending the warranty for 4 more years. Theirs always codes floating about and it's about the current price of a stick of 8gb RAM so seems worth it.

It's fake

There was one listed for 141 pounds :D

I have the same . You want to check if it is using the 2060 while on battery. You have an option to show gpu utilisation in the bios. It is probably that all you applications bare running on the 2060, and you will see a sub 1 hour battery life! Such is life :) With hybrid mode enabled and the applications running on the embedded i5 GPU, I see about 7 hours. Easiest way to make sure everything runs on the igpu is reboot, and the 2060 won't even be used..

In fairness, the battery life isn't going to be great on any machine like this!
