How much would be the customs charges on this?

I revived this yesterday via this deal. I was charged £78 customs charge by Royal Mail. The total cost for me was almost £400, so not really a deal (only saving £50, but having to wait a month). There is a new, much better deal in another thread, where it's £400 including the £150 keyboard.

Interesting that the Oneplus official store can only ship the tablet with a 3rd party case

It was available yesterday so it's probably just out of stock (edited)

Why's it sat on my Nan's placemat?

    Just ordered this. Good deal.

Is there any difference between the global version and the UK/EU version? (edited)

I'm looking at a new tab, but most of them seem either crap with older soc's, little ram and limited and slow emmc storage. Or there massively over priced when compared to Chinese brands.

Like the the low end Lenovo and Samsung Tab A series. You'd be better off with an oppo pad air, realme pad 2, alldocube iplay 50 mini or pro or a telecast.

I looked at the Samsung s6,7,8,9 range (the S6 lite 2022 sd720g 4+128 is £349 and just got it's last update in Jan) and the Lenovo P series (some of which are end of line for support) but their too expensive for the low spec, compared to other brands.

This OnePlus pad 2 (similar spec to the oppo and Vivo pad 2's) with demensity 9000 are supposed to be faster than the xaiomi pad 5 and 6 with Snapdragon 860 & 870. Only the sd8 gen 1 is faster according to reviews.

Shame none of these new tabs seem to have SD card slots. Is it worth getting one with more storage and ram than 4+128 or 6+128 that some have like 6,8 or 12gb ram?

I know this is available with 12+256 but couldn't see it listed. We seem to be getting all the base models and none of the extra ram, storage or LTE models.

Apparently realme will be aunching a tab with sd870 and an SD slot sometime soon.

Anyone got opinions on these vs the xaiomi tabs, which is better or something else preferably with SD card support? (edited)

BBK must be hurting with the restrictions in Europe hence the unheard of deal on Oneplus and Realme products.

VAT and import duty would apply?

Do you kiss goodbye to any warranty when buying from AliExpress? It would be impossible to return if faulty. Any views on this?
