iphonr is a bargain compared to this !

is the max trade-in discount £150?
    absolutebeginner's avatar
No, that is the bonus on top.

If this was £999, with this bundle, I would be so tempted. (Perhaps)

Yeah. I still miss those days when we had the flagship model from them around £300... (edited)

Hardware wise ,this phone is superb but I want to point out this is not an AI phone.
The pricing strategy is doggy at £1299, all or nothing, come with a bunch if unnecessary items. Prefer it is launched like the China version ¥7299, that's fairer. Don't tell me you can sell the unwanted items on ebay, its nonsense to put so much effort to get that.
If people spent over a thousand just for a bit faster, a bit better in photos. Xiaomi will be very grateful.
Brand value between Apple and Xiaomi no need to debate, its not you say something here then tit worths more. The brand value ,we all knows , check your facts if you don't.
The camera is co engineered with Leica, when asked who made the camera during an interview at mwc, the ceo of Leicadidn't responded to this question. So still unknown
Nowadays hardwares developed very fast, it's the software can't catch up. So considering the software at the same time when looking at the hardware. The camera kit is just an unnecessary toy asking for £178 is robbery.

The big decision between Xiaomi 14 Ultra vs iPhone 15 Pro Max. My main requirement is camera with capable video recording as my line of work requires high-quality videos. I’m awaiting some samples of this phone against iPhone to see if the difference is huge or minimum. Any input or insights would be appreciated.
    jamie1156's avatar
You're better off waiting for solid reviews to come out.

We all knew this day was coming, especially after OnePlus decided to do the same thing prior to Xiaomi. It was only a matter of time. Personally, I get why they are going for it - there will always be enough people with more money than sense to make it profitable.
  7. RealGeek's avatar
Pixel, iPhone, Samsung and Xiaomi all offer something different and you can't have everything in one phone, so if you are an iPhone fan apple logo is enough for you, S24 ultra offers pen and other one UI features and customisation, Pixel 8 pro offers original android experience, ai feature, free VPN, and fastest android updates plus new feature by future drop, Xiaomi offers best of camera experience but software level it's not as not as good as Samsung or Pixel level, so finally you have to decide which top 3 feature is most important for you? Buy the one you like and if it is not good then get a different one

I like the phone but I am no afraid of its resale value 2 years down the line. That's the sole reason I never dare to switch from my iPhones.
    XiaofengXiaofeng_Xiaofeng's avatar
As the other guys screenshot shows, this is totally outdated mentality and very odd behaviour to not even check

You click on Buy Now and then you will see it on the bottom part of the screen. (edited)

Bookmarked this page and what is the cheapest phone I can trade in cost wise.
    jamie1156's avatar
You will have to check yourself✅. It takes a few minutes.
  12. Deal_HUNT3R's avatar
Solid price. You always get people that don't have a clue and want something for nothing.
    JonReese's avatar
I'm guessing that's sarcasm, but very hard to tell these days!
  13. Tyrell_'s avatar
Paying so much for a phone astounds me, what will the average person do with it? I know at the moment it's the best phone money can buy, but imo absolutely pointless.
    medicgaming123's avatar
That’s the thing, in your opinion.
  14. Mabbs's avatar
    I really want this phone!
  15. Undisclosed2's avatar
    Awful pricing imo.

Sure, iPhones cost the same - but look at the trade-in value of this vs an iPhone 15 Pro in a years time.
    RealGeek's avatar
True, nobody sees this in the long term, my iPhone 14 pro 128 is still traded around £500, Pixel 8 pro 128 can be traded around £430 , imagine how you would feel when this Xiaomi gets you only around £300 after a year?
  16. jocksteeluk's avatar
Good combination of stuff, Xiaomi are getting these deals out now knowing the Snapdragon 8 Gen4 and dimensity 9400 powered phones are due out real soon, both CPUs and are meant to be massive jumps in performance.

Great deal right now for the combo!
    imransaleh96's avatar

  17. Alex_K123's avatar
how many years will this get Android support though?
    RudeYute's avatar
5 years, but I think it goes from monthly to quarterly at some point in between.
  18. wellibob's avatar
Since the mi9t series these phones really have been impressive, in the UK that is. I've purchased the poco F1, mi9t pro, poco f2 pro and mi 11 ultra. All I got sub 600 gbp most sub 400 gbp.
This year I find no reason to pay Samsung /iPhone money for these.
I agree a flagship type killer phone is well above £600 but xiaomi only appealed to me because of price, regardless of how damn good they were.
Decent deal but my money went elsewhere this year.... sad.
    medicgaming123's avatar
I mean, this is their absolute best, and if you still like the sub £600, then that 13T Pro deal (£509 with the included Watch 2 Pro and Redmi Pad SE, which like myself could then be sold on to make the phone a £230 one with a £699RRP) posted a few days ago would have passed the muster. You want the best, then these days at least, and with Xiaomi being third globally now, you just have to cough up the flagship money. The Xiaomi 14 isn't particularly bad at £799 when you consider how you get the same Pad 6. It will absolutely become a sub £600 phone when you sell the Pad 6 on, when eBay isn't littered with them.
  19. RealGeek's avatar
The price is too high for the person who already owns mirroless and doesn't need a fancy camera grip, already has a watch, iPad etc
  20. knockout60's avatar
Unless I'm missing something, Honor Magic 6 Pro is better in almost every aspect and at the moment it is much cheaper....
  21. telcoengr's avatar
over 1k on xiaomi 14 ultra. I don't care if phone is good or bad, but definitely its resale / trade in value is worse than apple. If i have to shed this much money then i will do on apple , not on Xiaomi.
    realdeals's avatar
    Somebody said that earlier.

Let's take a look ar what they are worth on this deal.

Iphone 14 pro is worth £500

    52300062-UnWPw.jpg
    More like £406.51

    Xiaomi is worth £300

    More like £482.73

Wow! What used to be a cheap phone company is now up witht he big boys!

Makes Apple look well priced now
  23. lazyboy's avatar
Thank you for posting. The £50 voucher was not available on the launch day, I have cancelled and re-ordered. This phone looks close to perfect in my opinion, just wish it had esim support. Also hoping it has a charge limit function unlike the 13 ultra.
    nonooney's avatar
Not as you thought. Stripped off satellite and unknown time for AI features. The phone worths £700ish but make no sense selling at £1,299 here
  24. enfluence1's avatar
Why did the lower the battery from the Chinese version and offer less colours?

Got the Mi 11 Ultra, really love it other than I broke the screen.

Really like this with the camera kit (which I only just found out today)
    Tez4u2nv's avatar
Camera kit does look cool. When the module is not attached does the leather case stay on the phone like a normal case? (edited)

    AlexTruong's avatar
    Whats the code please?
  28. RudeYute's avatar
Nope. At sub £1K I will upgrade my Mi 11 Ultra, but not at this price. Would rather a Chinese import if I can get one for under £800.
    absolutebeginner's avatar
This is cheaper than £800 if you sell the freebies and use the 20% coupon.
  29. Ravster's avatar

Annoyingly, both their site, when using the link under this phone, and their tradein site (Foxway tech) recognise the IMEI for my old Mi A1, but when you select condition - even if all good, get a message about the condition not being acceptable.

    The FAQ's state:
How do I know if my mobile device qualified?
We accept all conditions of the mobile devices – from fully working to no power devices. If your device cannot be found by the name or IMEI, then it is not eligible for trade-in.
    absolutebeginner's avatar
I had that with an old phone of mine, had to replace it with another one which was accepted.
  31. BargainHunta96's avatar
Why would you pay over a grand and get this instead of the S24 Ultra? (Typed from my S24 Ultra)
    absolutebeginner's avatar
Because this one costs me about £600 after freebies, coupon, discount and trade-in bonus.
  32. kraigisonfire's avatar
Anyone get a coupon called aiot? 20% can't use it but says I'll get a coupon 3 days after delivery???
    medicgaming123's avatar
Yes, once it's delivered which will be from the 19th March, so quite the wait. I misinterpreted the coupon as an almost sort of rebate post purchase, but I guess that would be too good to be true.
  33. Roberto_LoStorto's avatar
Just a question. If ordering today, will the tablet delivered together with the phone or before?
  34. yxhzy's avatar

  35. Adam2k18's avatar
    No esim support
  36. Ravster's avatar
Ignoring price, resale value etc etc, what're the thoughts on this vs Honor Magic 6 Pro?

I've already ordered Xiaomi 14 Ultra but I'm still weighing up the 6 Pro, there's no real good youtube videos out just yet comparing these two either.
  37. Abbizle's avatar
Just received a 10% off coupon for the 14 series. If I trade in my 11 Ultra + £150 off extra, the price goes down to about £697 for 14 Ultra with pad and camera attachment. Surely thats a bargain for a yet to be released flagship phone? Trying to convince myself

BTW, 10% coupon only valid til midday tomorrow! (edited)
    SantoshKaushik's avatar
How do you get this 10% code?
  38. Nizam16's avatar
Was sold on buying this till I found out there's no esim support, yet there is on the 14, makes no sense.
No desperate need for an esim but would have made holidays much easier
    Roberto_LoStorto's avatar
I just buy local sims...eSim are more expensive...
  39. Sylvester88's avatar
It's 10% off via myunidays so if you know a student just ask them for the code (edited)
    jamie1156's avatar
You don't need a student discount there is a code that automatically applies for 10% off. It expires today at 12:00. I've just ordered✅
