to the people who have bought this phone from giffgiff.

Dooes the warranty cover the phone under normal use as such time when the inner screen snaps in half? (it will happen).

CEX wash their hands of the device as soon as you hand over your money, I wondered if giffgaff do the same.

Such issues are not common on the 4.

The screen may not be fixed under warranty:
The warranty we provide with our phones is the same warranty terms the manufacturers provide and it does state that chips or cracks is not covered by the warranty, however the decision on whether or not the issue is covered by warranty is taken by the engineers in our repair centre. I know it may not seem fair, as the phone is folded over countless times, but we can only go by the manufacturers recommendations of what is covered by warranty.

You can still return the phone to our repair centre and if the technicians feel the damage is not covered by warranty, they will send you a quote for the repair and if you accept the quote, they will complete all repairs then send the phone back to you. If you reject the quote, they will return the phone back to you without repair. If you have to return the phone at any point in future and if a quote is raised, please get in touch with us and we can then contact the repair centre and question the quote.
