Decent, and for anyone wondering if there's a noticeably smoother frame rate and feel compared to 60hz, even when it's limited to 75 as it is here, the answer is yes there absolutely is. It's surprising how much nicer 75fps is than 60, plus it'll allow you to keep your internal resolution higher.

No doubt there will be the usual people that will vote cold and say 1080p on a 27" monitor is unusable.
This deal isn't for you, it's for people that are perfectly happy with a 27" 1080p monitor.

I’d prefer this to my 2560 X 1440. Most web pages end up with a ton of blank space at either edge & I have to zoom in all the time.

Super Hi-res is a waste of time for day to day use for many of us. Just a stupid marketing war over numbers like a lot of tech products.

    IMO

Would there be much/any disadvantage to just using this as a regular Windows/desktop PC monitor?

If good enough for gamers, surly good enough for office No disadvantages, good refresh rate and resolution for the price, 1ms response is overkill for office
    Go for it!
