    These aren't the best pads but at £1.50 they are worth it.

    Nice to see a bargain for those of us with "proper" brakes.

    God I miss the ease of good old fashioned brakes . Disc brakes are similar to gravel bikes ...just a bit of a fad .

    Is this just the pads? I.e. do you need to buy a cartridge/caliper to insert them to? I can't see from the image

    Yes, this is just the 'insert' you will need to use the old housing

    Good old fashioned brakes are still available. And they still work very well. V brakes and dual calipers on my fleet of bikes.
