Innovative energy-saving ester-containing fully synthetic premium engine oil specially developed for modern diesel engines and a number of petrol engines in FORD and VOLVO vehicles, considering the requirements for heavy-duty operation and extended engine oil change intervals. sorted byTell you this, I could tell the difference that the Mannol "energy saving" oil made, compared to the manufacturer's own stuff. The engine's quieter and I am having to brake more - as it doesn't slow as quickly with foot lifted from the gas pedal. Sadly, this car doesn't have a mpg or km/ltr display - so hard to tell if it is actually using less fuel now. I like to think so.
The oil did arrive with a tamperproof cap and a metallised sealing disc. Looked genuine enough. If they were going to sell fake oil - I'd think that they would do so with the more expensive brands...
Second time, as i still need the oil I did a new order and they gave tracking but it never updated to even being accepted at Evri. Yet again I had to wait the 7+ days before I could get Ebay involved, requested I still wanted product and two days later received though DPD.
Last time was two weeks ago, as with the second time tracking showed dispatched but again not received by Evri. No response to emails asking when would oil be picked up and another 7+ days wait before I could request Ebay to become involved again, two days later oil arrives delivered by Evri and same tracking number. No response or explanation from Carousel Cars.
Previous orders with them had the oil arrived either next day or a day later. Unsure what the issue is recently with them but they do need to sort out their dispatching system or get a new courier.
I will still order from them as long as I don't urgently need the oil as it is usually taking well over a week these days as they do not do anything until you've opened a case with Ebay.
Bought this for a 1.8 Civic which it's specced for.
