Just a word of warning, do not make the same mistake I made and only buy one of these if you're not using it in a heated room. I have all my big appliances in the garage and during the winter (the time you need a dryer as you can hang the clothes up in the summer) it's cold in there, so I was wondering why it wasn't drying anything and costing more in electricity than the conventional one it replaced. Turns out in the manual it was like 15c-35c was optimal.... Well it's like 5c in there on an average winters day, and it couldn't dry my clothes.

So do not buy one if that is your situation as well. (edited)

Anyone else have this issue ?

Somebody has warned last time this was posted that you can't access the condenser to clean it and apparently it affects the life of the appliance?

    Anyone confirm?

No, that doesn't make sense. They are under the flap and pull out at the bottom.
50950004_1.jpgVery easy to clean just like most others, all sane design. (edited)

I have a Samsung heat pump dryer. My wife says it is the best appliance in the house! Brilliant!

Heat pump driers are getting mixed reviews at best.

I've had mine a couple of years. Bloody brilliant from what I've seen, had no issues at all...

What’s better Heat Pump vs Condenser. Our drier is always on with a family of 4 (old vented) and has packed up.
