It seems the the new FineWoven cases are not being well received. Scratch easily, lint magnets and feel cheap. Not exactly a great replacement for the previous leather cases.

I’d avoid the fine woven cases from what I’ve read, garbage.

Can confirm. Mine is going back. Robbery at £59.99. Scratchy and feels like fabric wrapped cardboard.

Cancelled my finewoven case after watching a few videos on Youtube. They seem to scratch very easily. The bellroy leather ones look very nice, for £50.

Still incredibly overpriced for what you get.

So many third party cases just as good

Upto £59 for a case! Apple really need the money now they can't rinse their customers with overpriced 'lightning' cables and chargers

Apple didn't get £200bn+ in cash reserves from nowhere, really is a 'case' of a fool and their money are soon parted

    Get one for £5-10! (edited)
    Davidp87's avatar
They make it so you can’t resuse the case

I’m sorry but the Apple clear case is an absolute atrocity, doesn’t even cover the bottom 3/4 of the phone. Nor does it actually protect the phone that well.
    cantonbean's avatar
Yeah that’s what I got the ESR one. Not only that but it has an awesome kickstand around the camera lens that protects them as well. Costs about £20 and the one on my 13 PM still looks great after long usage.

I’ve heard horrible reviews of this. Collects scuffs like crazy. Poor quality. Over priced. (edited)

Literally makes no sense to let apple genuinely fleece you for a terrible £2 case.
  8. Itssocheap's avatar
Seen a few YouTube videos on the woven case. They are so easily marked. Even with your fingernail and the scratch marks do not come off.

Shocking that John Lewis charge £2.50 for click and collect!

It’s free for C&C on these cases because it’s over £30.

I put that in the title but the admins changed it back and stopped me from editing.

what? £40-£50 for a phone case?? My samsung branded silicon cover was £6 :))
    XiaofengXiaofeng_Xiaofeng's avatar
A52 Silicone case was £20 and garbage. Ended up buying my mum a pair from aliexpress for £2 each and they haven't fallen apart like the Samsung one.
  11. XiaofengXiaofeng_Xiaofeng's avatar
How is £50 for a case a deal? Should be £2... or literally free with the phone like all Xiaomi. (edited)
    9etrader's avatar
Because it is 20% off and lowest price available anywhere (makes it a perfect deal for hotukdeals)

Yes some people like different things are happy to pay a premium !!

I bought the same Leather case but in blue to go with my blue 15 pro.
It’s a really good case nice and lite at 30g
  13. tsd1984's avatar
Thanks, I’ve gone for the clear iPhone 15 Max with MagSafe again. Has been fine for my iPhone 13 Pro Max and I know it’ll be hard to find it cheaper for a while.
    comicmankev's avatar
    does it discolour much?
  14. acemagneto's avatar
Perfectly timed, cancelled my Apple Store order with EPP discount as this is cheaper
  15. ZazZYo's avatar
Silicone is still cheaper on John Lewis. Don't like the Apples clear case as it doesn't protect lower edge..
  16. WohnJick's avatar
These are receiving poor reviews so be mindful. If you’re all for the environment, don’t let me stop you. Just be warned the material reacts poorly to normal wear i.e. scratches are permanent and doesn’t look good in comparison to leather
    XiaofengXiaofeng_Xiaofeng's avatar
That is why leather is the best material. Proper leather lasts for 100 years.

Cheap cloth crap lasts 100 minutes 😜😜

ESR case with kickstand - job done and miles cheaper / better!
  18. scoundr3l's avatar
    ESR...that is all.
    DavidLoPan's avatar
Amen to that, I'm just waiting for my 15 Pro Max to be delivered but ESR case is ready and waiting.
  19. pegmosaic's avatar
No blue n the fine woven either
    9etrader's avatar
They have the blue pic of the finewoven one for the green for the 15 pro max
not sure which will come in the post
  20. DavidLoPan's avatar
I’m thinking of getting the clear pro max case but at £40 does anyone know where I can get a case to protect the case?
    Ahmad_Mohamad's avatar
Dbrand have a better clear case that won’t go yellow over time
  21. Yusen_Fei's avatar
    Bought, thanks op
  22. ZazZYo's avatar
Case sorted! I was going to go the more eco friendly wave cases but went for Apple silicone one instead off this deal. Hopefully is a lot thinner. Now any advice on which screen protector to buy? Whilst waiting for pro max order

£1599 and it doesn't come with a case or charger. It is a SCAM.

I have a fine woven case and I quite like it. It feels really nice in my hand and looks great. Admittedly I haven’t tested out the spill resistance but I don’t think it’s as bad as everyone is making out.

My 'clay' 15PM silicone case arrived this morning, so I can confirm to the few people wondering, yes these are iPhone 15 cases. To be honest, we all know a place like John Lewis wouldn't pull a stunt such as selling 14 cases as 15 cases, but thought I'd confirm anyway to the doubters.

Free C&C to the 'Morrison's Local' less than a mile up the road from my house, so no need to pay postage costs or trek to John Lewis.

All ready for my 15PM which arrives tomorrow.

That box design literally looks like a Chinese knockoff
  26. tempt's avatar
Some of these cases have a similar discount on CPW. Free NDD and potential £25 Quidco bonus.
    9etrader's avatar
They dont have any finewoven ones

FineWoven 15 Pro Max in black is the same price on Amazon:
Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max FineWoven Case with MagSafe - Black
    amzn.eu/d/g…ie9
    9etrader's avatar
    Good spot

Wish they did the discount on the finewoven Blue for 15 pro max too
  28. acemagneto's avatar
Went in store and they hadn't even put them out yet. They had to make a few trips to the stock room to get me the one I wanted
    tsd1984's avatar
I do wonder how it works. Is it solely people who pre-ordered picking them up or do they actually have some to sell? I wonder how long it is before someone can actually walk up and buy one?
  29. h4music's avatar
Are all these iPhone 13/14 cases being flogged as the ones for the 15th version?
    9etrader's avatar
No they are different in sizes
  30. ishybon's avatar
Awaiting the 14PM case deals - would be nice to have a refresh
  31. BiffyBear's avatar
I got the silicone case today and it collects lint/dust in your pocket. Anyone know how to stop this?
    lanceuppercut's avatar
Use a different case, the silicone has always been super grippy, I don’t use it for that reason as my phone goes in my front pocket.
  32. stuartc's avatar
One of my colleagues had one of the fine woven cases at work on Friday. He was really disappointed with it and was going to take it back. If I end up upgrading to the 15 pro max from my 13 pro I will definitely be getting another Mous case for it. It has been amazing so far and saved it from several drops.
  33. Argeilas's avatar
I was on the fence about buying this with my IP15 Pro Max. However, after using it for a few days I absolutely love it. It’s so lightweight and fits perfectly with the phone.

yeah, it is overpriced but that’s Apple for you.
  34. tsd1984's avatar
So the case you have will work with my Apple Wallet for example? Or the Magsafe holder I have in my car? Or the Magsafe battery pack I have?
