Got 150gb from Vodafone for 13£.

What are you talking about. Smarty are very good. Brand snobbery at its finest

I'm guessing Smarty still use O2?

3 as far as I’m aware

Depends where you are/live - best signal in Kent for me.

Cheers, just went from 8gb at £7 a month to 40gb at £8 a month on my sons account via the chat facility

Have two sims with Smaty for Kids and have been flawless in London .They have better coverage when we have been in away in most of the uk compared to Virgin now owned by o2..Odd really as you would think two big brands would be better.

Simple fuss free contracts and rolling 30day. (edited)

O2/Virgin are simply too congested to manage these days. They take on more and more customers especially since the merger but just haven’t invested enough in the network to keep up with demand. In certain areas the data speeds slow to an unusable level as a result.

I hope this doesn't spell the end of the 50GB for £8 deal that I'm currently on.

    Thanks - ordered

What's the signal like in Bournemouth?
    Anybody know?

Ordered too. Three network is okay where I live, it's only 30 day so can always change again if needed

Can I use this solely in London? How good is coverage and data speeds? Is it available in eSim?

Wasn't this normally 50gb for £8, the special offer they put out every few months.
    MrSwitch's avatar
Possibly, i just saw the last post of 40GB at £10pm, and thought this was worth it at £2 less pm

The best way is to find someone who can refer and then 2 months would cost £1.as both get £15 each

You lose the Three+ rewards after moving from 3 to Smarty so I believe.

I'm on this plan (but more data) when it was posteed a couple of months ago. My only minor negative is that if you have a smart watch such as an Apple one that supports calls, their betwork is unable to support it. In my case, Ive realised I never really take calls from my watch so decided to just go with it anyway.

But it might be worth knowing for someone else out there.

Thanks for this. So what network is best for accepting calls on Apple watch? I’m about to get my first Apple Watch.

Trying to outdo the old faithful O2 30gb offer. And its tempting (particularly with the multiple accounts discount).

Is this better than Lyca in terms of coverage and quality reception in London?
