I have lebara and the cost/value is unbeatable... although remember if you have a Google Pixel that Wifi Calling and 4G VoLTE won't work on any virtual networks using Vodafone or O2, including Lebara, talk mobile, virgin mobile etc. (edited)
    k3vink3vin's avatar
There is a hack to enable it, works on my Pixel 7 on Lebara.

I’ve a Vodafone contract that’s finished next month, I spoke to Vodafone regarding a better deal, mentioned those plan. They said they couldn’t match the plan and they I wouldn’t be able to port my number from Vodafone to another third party Vodafone company. Is this correct?
    Skymonkey's avatar
Did they really say that? Hmm… surely all you need is to request your pac code and then sign up for a lebara plan and move your number over by giving them your code. I think Vodafone might be telling porkies which is very naughty indeed…

Just found this which may help you. switching Voda to Lebara

That explains exactly everything you need to do in order to move. Hope that helps! (edited)

Im already with lebara, do you know if i can still get this please? I can't find the info on their website

If I order one of these and then only put it in the phone and start using it in, say, 3 weeks, does my contract start then, or does it start from when I order it?
    keefly's avatar
You are charged £1.99 as soon as you order it but you then have up to a month** to activate it (put it in your phone & text/call/data), your first month will only start from that point & your next £1.99 will be charged one month after that activation date.

** Some say you have longer than that, some say you only have one month.

Cash back doesn’t track and Quidco doesn’t allow missing cash back claims on compare sim only deals

Don't count on quidco for that cashback they refuse to pay me twice on big payouts 60£ and 50£ ,even if everything looked ok ,got tracking and everything was confirmed but in the end they just declined to pay, only use Tcb,never failed me.
I'm currently with Lebara and the 5g is almost 0 everywhere I go, signal always fluctuates, it's only reliable for calls .
I'm thinking of porting to Lyca, used them before (had a recent experience with their network with a backup SIM and it's definitely better than they used to be a couple of years ago).
Another good choice would be Smarty,I have an unlimited plan used with my backup phone used as a hotspot in the house, this way I won't be taking any broadband deal any time soon after a nightmare experience with talktalk, been through hell and back to get rid of them on a contract that was just about to expire soon, probably the worst customer service I have ever encountered in my life. It's not just Quidco, I'm failing with big cashback transactions from TCB too.

I think the Cashback era is winding down.

Great deal, heat added. Got a few for holiday roaming, I saw some people mention they block for roaming more than using at home, hopefully not?
    keefly's avatar
I hadn't seen that. I got one last year & another this year to use in Spain during two-week holidays & had no problems.
  8. Quidco_Rep's avatar
Hi all, please can you DM me with your email address associated with your Quidco account and I will look into this for you, Eve

    Done. Thanks.

Thank you just ordered. With smarty atm but their network in Manchester isn't great. Hoping this will be better. Can someone tell me please, will porting my number cancel my plan with smarty automatically or do I need to cancel with smarty first? Thank you
    keefly's avatar
It's automatic once you give Lebara your Smarty PAC

Looking for one for the USA for a week, I see it says 100 Min calls included. But I feel like data is ontop?

Anyone know if this is suitable? Or which network would be best for a week. If not I'm sticking with £6 a day with Vodafone.
    Thanks
    wacko911's avatar
It says USA is one of the countries included mate. 51142724-p69YA.jpg

I'm guessing people messing about with gmail have 4 active sims already with them as i added to an existing account no probs with £1.99 taken??

My Quidco tracked and showed as payable in November on this existing account and Gmail (edited)

Amazing price - have some heat!

This is a brilliant network with fantastic perks such as Wifi calling, EU roaming, etc.

£7.99 per month is also a decent price. Alot of people will still be comparing this deal of 3 months promo offer to their previous 6 month promo deals; which are non-existent lately!

I've just switched from Lebara to LycaMobile, and will definitely switch back to Lebara in a couple of months - I miss their network!
    Bouksani's avatar
From Lebara to Lyca? Lebara is no. 1 atm with all this EU features.
  13. Kam-s's avatar
If you cancel once the 3 month promotional pricing of £1.99 has ended. Would quidco still pay out? It is a monthly contract.
  14. pokemon2's avatar
    Nice deal, but you mentioned
    • Includes Unlimited 5G Data
But it is 20gb data so which one is it.
I can not find roaming charge for eu and international countries. Thank you
    keefly's avatar
Do you not understand the difference between 5G (the fifth-generation cellular network standard) & 20GB (twenty billion bytes of data allowance per month)?

Can anyone tell me please …… if I get a sim now and use it in an old phone , can I port my old number across to the Lebara sim in about 2 months when my current contract runs out?
    Index's avatar
Port out to a non lebara sim for example to three then port back in.

How do people find the signal? I switched from Plusnet to Smarty and Smarty speeds are pretty dismal for me. Even in central London it was patchy at best.

I know people say that it varies depending on where you are, but I'll be travelling on trains to a variety of places so it's not just my area I need a good signal.
    buzzdog's avatar
I have both my kids and their grandad on it, no complaints, we are South London
  18. hodlcab's avatar
I amUsing Lebara and the performance of the 5G is terrible , definitely tier down from Vodafone direct , or EE
    Soni210's avatar
Tend to agree with you the 5G isn’t great with lebara but calls are better than it’s mvno competitor lyca mobile ..both are seemingly better than 3 and do offer roaming advantages. The Wi-Fi calling of lebara is useful
wonder if it’s time to go back to recognised providers directly like Vodafone , O2 or EE… hmmm… and have the mvno as back up for roaming???
  19. Emd69's avatar
Go to the top cash back and get £13 cash back, payout in 24 hours
    Index's avatar
    Topcashback or Quidco?
  20. Coolio's avatar
Ordered! My ridiculously priced 2 year contract with EE is finally ending this month so time to get some cheap sim deals....I've got the kids already on Lebara..works fine
  21. C_X's avatar
Where should I check the delivery information of SIM? It has been a week since the delivery but ithas not arrived yet
  22. Superflyguy_uk's avatar

Does anyone know if wifi calling still doesn't work with the Pixel phones on Lebara, in particular the Pixel 6A?
    Rahan's avatar
Just had a chat with online support and they've confirmed Pixel phones are not supported.
  26. whatever76's avatar
anyone can find similar deal for 6 months please? Thanks!
    greglowe1's avatar
No. Just switch after 3m if you want - but I’ll carry on paying the £8 as it’s still cheap. The 6m deals aren’t around right now.
  27. patajojo's avatar
why it can't process the payment ?
  28. bhoy70's avatar
Thanks for this! Ordered for Spain in a few weeks. Sorry if this has being asked before but I couldn't see anywhere. I now have 2 Sims on account. Can you data gift from one to another till next period as I've done with EE in the past. I don't think you can. Also, I've read you don't need to switch roaming on with Lebara whilst away??
    greglowe1's avatar
    No you can’t data gift.

No you don’t need to turn roaming on.
  29. dundalk's avatar
can someone please confirm if Lebara offers call waiting feature?

It says so on their website "When call waiting is turned on, you can answer a new call without ending your ongoing call." - but I chatted with Lebara representative and he is adamant that Lebara network in the UK does not have this feature. When I sent him a link to their own website saying differently, he said he can't open the link as it is external (it's on their own website). When I copied the text, he said that the information on their website was wrong..."
I'm currently with plusnet which was bought by EE, but in the last few months, the call quality in my home is so bad, that I have to use whatsapp sometimes (wifi calling option doesn't help). so i'm looking to change networks.
    davidw59's avatar
Call Waiting works perfect; as does WiFi calling
  30. cheapthrills82's avatar
Is this available to existing customers ?
    keefly's avatar
I used an existing account but I had previously delinked the old SIM that I'd stopped using (and paying for).
  31. billyblanka's avatar
Hi, did anyones cash back track? Or are we all having the same issue please?
    keefly's avatar
    Mine didn't
  32. bhoy70's avatar
When I last checked it hadn't but just checked it just now and it has!! Showing as 20th November payment. Like I said that was just the cherry on top and wasn't fussed!
Surely that came be right actually.... this'll cost me £6 and if I cancel it I'm then £6 up??? (edited)

Thanks. Expensive 24-month contract with Three on my iPhone 13 Pro Max is finally finished so going to take advantage of this for the next 3 months.

Can some please explain how an existing user can avail this deal without falling foul of their [revious user email address checker ?

    Thanks
    Terry_Brownmpz's avatar
Hi, I created another Gmail email address and it worked fine.
  35. potatohead's avatar
Great offer, thanks. Will switch after 3m. Cashback tracked on quidco when I checked the next day.

My lebara promotion is ending soon.
What's the easiest way to join this deal? I understand I have to port out first to keep the number, what's the recommended way?
    Thanks
    greglowe1's avatar
Just as you said, port out to a PAYG, then the day after the port goes through get your PAC and do it all again. I go via Three.
  37. Zana711's avatar
Signed up for this £1.99 per month offer for 3 months. Just got my second month charged at £7.99 (normal price). Did anyone else get this?
