Just thought I’d let people know of my experiences with the 2022 frame TV (43”). I have it in my bedroom and overall picture and performance is good. Black levels are decent, no DSE and not much clouding. HDR is average and it gets to about 500 nits. There’s some pop but obviously doesn’t rival most “good” TVs. The one connect box is fantastic, allows me to have all my connections and devices out the way. The Matt screen is a benefit in my case because it seriously reduces reflections. Apps work well and are relatively fast.

Now there are two major major issues - if you get a finger print, water mark, spit, anything on the screen you are buggered. The ONLY thing that gets it’s off is distilled water and a magic eraser and even then you have to work it for a long time. The other thing is that it has a sensor for when you are walking past to illuminate the screen in picture mode but it doesn’t just do it there, it does it with the tv on standby and if you toss in your sleep. Many nights I’ve woke to an illuminated (but dark) screen. You cannot turn this off. Now I have to flip the switch at the wall every night. Lots of people have these issues so it’s not like I have the one dodgy screen or anything.

So…..if you like the picture effect (which is great) and you want a decent set in your bedroom, I’d say get it with the caveats mentioned, otherwise there are plenty better out there.

Also think the 32” is HD only? The 43” isn’t that big so just get that.

You can definitely turn off the sensor on the 2021 versions... I think it's in either the ambient mode, or power settings from memory.

This says 32 inch is only 1080p and not 4k.

Thats correct. It needs to be bigger than 32" to get 4K resolution. However, the 32" has QLED and sharper images so this makes up for the lack of definition which is noticable on larger screens 48" +

Any more offers like free bezel and installation like the offer in July? Not good with DIY. (edited)

Yes, through the order process it allows you to select installation services. Also there is a free bezel offer via theframebezel.com/ - you have to claim with receipt info.

Do you need to open the box to claim cashback?

Just purchased and managed to get the 32" for £399.20 using Blue Light. Hopefully they will honor the £100 cashback so this brings it down to £299.20
