Honestly, I paid £45 to get it sent back and going to it repaired elsewhere..

they quoted me 3k. It's a complete joke. Avoid them. (edited)

I've noticed more deals seem to get more heat these days, not sure why. Feels like these should be cheaper though.

Much improved chassis over the Nitro, could well be worth the extra for some people.

there was an offer for new Nitro few days ago, it is 100£ more but much better laptop i think?

I paid abt the same for mine, same chasis and screen only stepped uo components, cooling for a laptop is great, 13th series only hit 90 during benchmark, screen is very nice, super bright but dims well, ypu may be able to get better hardqare on other laptops but most modern gaming laptops comprinise on screen and cooling, so id say this is a better option that laptops that have better specs as the screen is miles above that of the msi katana, would reccoment

Is it possible to put 32gb RAM in this ? ... I'm on the rebound from being denied the Razer laptop and eying this up (edited)

    Hi,
I believe you should be able to upgrade RAM to 32GB. I have done it before in Acer Nitro 5.

Has anyone got this laptop that can comment on the fan noise ? Lots of contradicting videos on YouTube saying it's very loud or not too bad.

I don't have it. But it's top tier Acer latest generation cooling system so I'd assume it can't or slightly can get less noisy for the GPU.
