BTW once purchased, you can cancel the renewal, it will keep your sub active until the next payment due i.e. Nov 2024 (just cancelled mine and active, see screenshot within comments)

I just confirmed doesnt work on new accounts. It's for returning customers only.- I joined the 3 months for half price offer yesterday, then saw this 1 year offer at half price.
I contacted Paramount, and asked if they could cancel the 3 months offer straight away, so I could take advantage of the 1 year half price offer, as it was ending on the 27th Nov.
They replied could I provide a screenshot of the email with the offer, which I didn't have. So I said I didn't know how to screenshot, and told them that the promotion code was nov2023upg.
They cancelled the 3 month offer & kindly refunded the £3.49 payment they had taken , and said I could take advantage of the 1 year half price promotion now.
Excellent customer service & quick replies.

Didn't work for me unfortunately.It didn't work for me in Chrome, but did in Opera. Make sure you have the annual plan selected during the sign-up process. It won't work if the monthly option is checked.- Work around definitely works for new customers! Created a new account with the 3 months half price monthly offer (£3.49). Then 'switched' plan, within my account, to annual. It immediately billed me £66.41. I then raised a ticket through the help centre, confirmed the discount code and asked politely for a refund and I've just had an email through, about 15 minutes later, confirming £34.96 refund is on the way (edited)Thank you for your response. We can confirm that we have issued a refund for £34.96 GBP against your subscription. This should be back in your account shortly but may take up to 10 working days to appear on there.
Your subscription remains active and your next billing date will be November 25, 2024.

Scrap that it did work now. I was on a trial and managed to cancel the trial because i was messing about. Went to log in again and it said welcome back so i slected nyear and code worked. in Chrome. (edited)
Worked for me (I did not click the link at the top as my firewall blocks that)
I went straight to paramount+ website, signed in (i had access to a trial when it first started), chose my plan at full price (code only works for YEARLY) and on the third screen, i placed the code and applied the discount. Payed with paypal and all gucci.
For those interested, I used firefox browser, my main browser without any tricks of private browsing, etc, etc. (edited)

Any idea when this offer expires? I'm guessing after today 27/11? My subscription runs out tomorrow and the website won't let me select Annual Plan to renew. Can't see the date anywhere.

2. Waited for the 7 day free trial to expire
3. Signed up for a new annual subscription with code "dec2023upg"
4. Went through at £34.95

It's always been HD. Just not 4k yet.
Mine expires on the 28th November after a year's subscription. Anyone know if I can apply this before hand ?

Ohh dear, this logic would make no sense (edited)- Tried chrome, edge and Firefox. Can't get it to work.
Perfect - about what it is worth (mainly for Star Trek and a few other things). Not enough there to warrant paying more than this.
Works for me but I'm still hesitant until they go 4K HDR. Any news on that?- I couldn't get it working for ages. It was only the other offer coming up... until I realised I needed to be clicking to sign up for the year, not the monthly section. Once I clicked yearly subscription then the code nov2023upg , it worked no problem!
Has anyone cancelled the 3 months 1/2price and upgraded to this? If so, how?You can only try n see if it's works once you put code in? Fingers crossed 🤞

Update: Just got a reply from Paramount .....
Thank you for contacting Paramount+. We're glad to assist you. We can see that you were mistakenly charged the full annual fee and have therefore issued a refund of 50% of the charge, which should be back in your account in the next 7-10 working days.
So check your Credit/Debit card charges!

- Have only had the free trial over a year ago.
Clicked link and it only showed me 3 months half price.
Logged out and then logged back in and selected one year plan added payment card and the code and it went through fine.

Yes if it charges you full amount, they will refund the difference. Just need to send the screen shot of the promo code deal

I’ve created so many different accounts to get several one month free trials over the past year I’ll have a hard time remembering what email addresses I’ve actually used for this in the past.I'm the same, albeit also the opposite
I created half a dozen accounts to try and subscribe via Argentina and other countries and not a single one ever got past the payment stage so I can't take this offer even if i wanted to.- I was going to sign up but I only have a 3 month option and no way to select a year or plan annually. Its a great deal but I'm not signing up for 3 months, changing to a year, paying and then contacting them for a refund.... what an ass ache, great deal though..... heat added.
- I changed to annual, paid full price, contacted support and 2 hours later they have refunded me £33. So got there in the end! Got to be worth it for this price surely
Just renewed for another year, thanks. My doesn't sub finish until the end of the day so couldn’t apply the code. I emailed support they said there was nothing they could do as the code was for monthly subscribers committing for a year. I asked them to cancel my subscription immediately, which they did. I was then able to start a new 12 month sub using the code. Support is really quick.- my subscription expired today - and allowed me to renew with this offer. The end date seems to be based on when you took out the contract rather than the end of the day. So managed with a few hours to spare!
