Just got an email from them - they are now doing roaming bundles for outside the EEA - not cheap, but certainly handy & not the worst value - places like Turkey, USA, etc. They even do Andorra (famed for being very expensive to roam in) & Switzerland, but at a higher rate.

spread the word!

lebara.co.uk/en/roaming/roaming-rate-finder.html

lebara.co.uk/en/roaming-add-on/p/44000029.html
lebara.co.uk/en/roaming-add-on/p/44000036.html
lebara.co.uk/en/roaming-add-on/p/44000030.html
lebara.co.uk/en/roaming-add-on/p/44000037.html

Seems that there are many more!

Larger India roaming for instance lebara.co.uk/en/…tml (change 35 to 28 for the 8 day India).

EEA (what people call EU or European) roaming are 27 & 34 instead of 35 - I would NOT use these - just buy a plan (and get up to twice as much data for less than half the cost)!

33 & 40 in place of 35 include Guam, but at 😳 prices.
31/38 (many places, e.g. UAE, Japan, Antigua, Egypt, etc.) & 32/39 (many, Inc. Mauritius, Seychelles & Nigeria) might be of interest too.

Lebara user here. I just got back from 1 month is Spain and Portugal, was roaming on Vodafone ES most of the time.
I drove about 2500 miles, streamed spotify and used google maps navigation on my phone the whole time, only used about 6gb out of my 21GB plan. Never had an issue, I had good reception at least 95% of the time and I was often between mountains and in valleys. No complaints, actually the opposite. (edited)

I've just moved from O2 to Lebara and the connection speed is night and day different in my area. Before I was getting under 1mb and now I'm topping 45mb. Obviously it will vary in your area but I'm also enjoying the freedom of swapping contracts rather than being locked in. And for these prices (I was paying £29 a month) to £2.83 a month, it's a significant saving worth the effort of swapping providers every now and again or even staying with lebera will save me £23 a month!

    Well said - it’s a “no brainer”

Cheap is usually not good, but Lebara are a different ball game totally!

In my case, TCB pays out right after a month. So I switch between two networks when there's a good deal available

I switched to Lebara never got any service on my phone, terrible customer services …. Would never use them again !!!

I rang them the other day and got through straight away (much to my shock as I had just put it on speaker to do something else). How long ago did you use them?

Silly question, can you move from an existing Lebara contract to another Lebara contract?
    andylol's avatar
Nope. Needs porting in and out if you want to keep the number. Or if you have multiple sim capability in the phone then just get a new sim and assign it to your existing account (can add up to 4)
  6. Onlydongles's avatar
Any idea when they will start offerin eSim ?
  7. nnj10's avatar
Does porting to free 3 sim and out again work?
That is without topping up 3 Sim and without having to speak to their customer service.

Was with virgin and everything was ok when on Vodafone but when they changed to O2 I couldn't get a signal indoors or out in my garden, so going back to Vodafone via Lebara was a no brainer and saved money too.

Lebara are the new Plusnet. I just switch to a new deal at the end of the 6 months, or 3, if no 6 months deals going. No complaints here! (edited)

Anyone else have issues with outgoing calls being cut off after 30 minutes
When receiving calls, it ends after 15 minutes
    jimbo23's avatar
Sounds like some kind of setting on your phone doing that?

Just get your pac code if you want to keep your number or get a stac code if you dont care about the number. (edited)

    My Lebara Experience
It was a while before I could get WiFi calling, a few days after my text saying I had access and much switching the phone off and on but I got there about a week after transferring.
When I left I just asked for the PAC by text and everything went smoothly.
All in all no great problems and good coverage where I am

The one thing I don’t like is that you can’t easily change when there is a better offer available. I think voxi has nailed it the way they do it (edited)

You can using the tricks in this post here hotukdeals.com/com…290

You don't get the intro offers but it's understandable, as intro offers are used to gain customers. You do get some bonuses if you stay, eg I just got an extra GB of data for staying a year.

Does anyone know if you can get an eSIM for an Apple Watch with them?
    t3r4's avatar
No you cannot, only the big networks do this and usually at extra cost

What's currently the best free sim to pac out to, then back to Lebara from? Asda used to be painless, anyone know if this is still the case?
    nrgk7's avatar
Any PayGo sim from a Supermarket will do the job. Never used Asda, but 3 works fine (edited)
